Sleek Canalside Stay in Edinburgh

Beautiful apartment in a nice solid old building. Very clean. Felt safe and secure. Comfy bed and useful day bed in the living room - we didn't need to pull it out fully). Kitchen has all you need. Good WiFi. Decent TV. Location is a bit of a walk from the old town or centre but there are plenty of shops & fast-food places nearby or some decent bars and more diverse restaurants a shorter walk away towards Newmarket. Uber to/from Waverley area is around £10. A great value apartment!

Only thing lacking was shelves in the bathroom.

The apartment is located just outside the touristic center of Edinburgh in a quiet cul-de-sac. There is a bus stop at 100 m. that will take you the center or beyond. There are shops and restaurants around the corner. Parking is available in the street, though it is pay and display for weekdays between 08:30 and 17:30.

The apartment was quite expensive. (As were all accommodations in the area. Seems like if you are not primarily interested in one of the festivals that are going on in Edinburgh during August, you'd better stay away from it during that month. accommodation prices go up and streets are all over-crowded.) The double bed could have been a bit wider. Not a real criticism, just a personal discomfort as we are used to a kingsize.

Arrivati un ora prima del check in previsto per le 15 abbiamo chiesto più volte di poter accedere all alloggio già pronto, per poter lasciare I bagagli, i ma dopo una prima risposta interlocutoria tutti spariti per un ora e mezzo che abbiamo trascorso seduti sul marciapiede. Il codice è stato fornito pochi minuti prima dopo circa 20 chiamate. Se cercate la flessibilità non è il posto che fa per voi. Non rispondono facilmente né al telefono né ai messaggi L alloggio per i ragazzi è un divano e non una camera. Il giorno dopo abbiamo chiesto di lasciare i bagagli per la mattinata ma c è stato negato a causa di un check in alle ore 12. Evidentemente il check in alle ore 15 era solo per noi Inviato
