Absolutely perfect from start to finish.

The apartment was situated in a really good place with the grassmarket, the castle and victoria street with many things Harry Potter a short walk away (around 15min) and the meadow with it’s beautiful green spaces basically around the corner. It was also surrounded by restaurants with the closest being right under the apartment. We also found Scott co-op close by to buy breakfast, sun screen, deodorant and other necessities to use in the apartment.

We only had 1 set of keys which made it a bit challenging to plan the day when a few people played golf and others wanted to see the sights. But that’s the only negative aspect about this apartment.

We stayed for 3 nights, reasonable value for money if you want a place not too far from Old town.

Close to center and transportation. Its not modern but well kept. They have basic facilities like stove and fridge and some kitchenware

No elevator we have to use the stairs, it wont be a problem but only if you are travelling with senior or disabled

Properly is quite bright and spacious and close to shops which I like.

Property needs a deep cleaning especially inside microwave. Bathroom kitchen , walls and rugs need a professional cleaning. And there was no oven toaster and no bathroom rugs.

Cozy! You feel at home.

Good location, with restaurants, cafes and supermarkets close to the accommodation.

Only the place in front is under construction, so it became a little noisy. But I believe it will be temporary.

Location was good, staff helpful, bedding clean, nice size.

No toaster, no tea towel, no washing up liquid, no plug for sink in bathroom or bath, leather sofa needed a good clean/wipe down, bits in between cushions & so did the dining room chairs. Smelt of cigarette smoke but think this was from other tenants and it permeates through. Booking said parking for one unit, was no parking available, advised to park Lemington terrace but road closed & it was 1/2 Mile away.

It’s two flights of stairs to get to the apartment, not super convenient with luggage. The blow dryer didn’t work and it’s a bit dated.

Cheap apartment very central location

The location is amazing and for a one night stay it is cheap and in a very central location walking distance to everything.

The windows didn't shut fully, as it's on a busy street where all sounds and smells can and did come in. Shower was also very poor. Some of the towels were not clean.

Spacious apartment centrally located close but sparse kitchen and appliances.

Very central location, we just parked our car in the private lot (a few minutes walk from the apartment) and then used the public transport to get around town. Spacious apartment. Accommodating and responsive host.

Kitchen was sparse and water pressure in showers were weak. No washer or dryer and no dish washer.

Friendly owner, showed everything personally. Excellent car parking. The staff helped with arranging an early check out. The apartments are clean.

Of the shortcomings, I can note the noise at night from the street, both passing vehicles and walking youth. It was hot and I wanted to leave the windows open.

Basic roomy 2 bedroom apartment

I liked the size and cleanliness of what was there. location

Had no plug for bath which turned out didn't matter as was no hot water for that or wash dishes could not get through to landlord to be advised or remided. Needs lamp in lounge clean glasses fish slice tea towels basic items for apartment stay

Spacious apartment in a great location.

Spacious, clean, virgin package (tv+internet),great location.

Owner while was helpful and had a smiling face made me worried few times during the booking process by raising concerns about me having 2 children and raising concerns about me possibly leaving a mess in his apartment (!?). Not a single toilet paper roll on arrival or some handwash. Kettle while looks quite new was really unusable due to amount of scale (no good for 7m baby). Only few drink glasses available (2 or 3). Apartment parking process a bit convoluted. Luggage unloading process at the apartment absolutely a nightmare and stressful (4 adults, 2 children and stroller, lots of luggage) due to apartment being very close to a busy junction and traffic lights (double yellow/red lines). 4hr (pay/charge) parking next to the apartment always full. Door keys not labelled causing confusion. Secure parking access few min drive from the apartment. Challenging access (at least for 7 seater SUV) to it due to a narrow gate. Parking at actual parking (once you passed the gate) needs a lot of manoeuvring. Once parked a lot of weeds and spiky bush touching side of the car (a bit worrying if you have 21 reg plate car). Outside black bin always overloaded with lid being constantly up. Even with apartment being on the 2nd floor we have managed to get the pram and baby few times a day up and down with no issues. Apartment location is great (loud but close to city centre). Close to Princes Street, co-op shop, local Sainsbury and Chemist. Castle is within the walking distance (approx. 20min). Couple restaurants close by. While apartment is well outdated it's specious and clean. Few plates available with forks and knives available. Bedding very clean. Apartment with free of any smells. Smoke alarms fitted. Virgin Vivo box and virgin internet present. Owner respond on booking . com very fast. Respond to a phone calls while we were at the apartment very fast too. Based on above if we go again to Edinburgh we will be happy to stay again here ...

Location. 5 minutes from old town and castle or main shopping streets. Owner was lovely and parking space offered at his guest house which is 2 mins walk. Apartment is clean and well equipped and very roomy.

Beds were very hard and location a little noisy. Would benefit from extra set of keys
