Amazing view, exceptionally elegant, modern and clean flat, very polite and pleasant hostess. The smart TV was a delight compared to other b&b's.
Pillows could have been a bit more comfortable, and a bathroom cabinet or shelf to put your toiletries would have been useful. There is a small patch walking from the hotel to centro storico which is dodgy and should be avoided.

Port View had a very good location. 15min easy walk from Genoa Principe railway station. Close to the harbour area (across the street), near Old Town but away for the problem areas, near the palaces. The rooms are clean and comfortable with modern furnishings. Great shower and hot water. Shared kitchen area to make tea, some honour bar snacks, with fridge for your own food if you wish. A fantastic (one of the best in Genoa) bakery less than a block away, 2 convenience stores 1/2 block in either direction. The bike tour (TreeCycle) shop right around the corner that offers rentals, bike and rickshaw tours, some excellent hiking supply and sports stores, McDonalds/Burger King if you really need it about 1.5 blocks away, and Eataly - a great marketplace come restaurant spot - in the harbour area. Francesca the owner was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. BIG beautiful window for light and space. Good internet.
The only minor thing is that the expressway is across from the guesthouse between there and the harbour, but you are up on the 4th floor and above it. (My wife found it a bit noisy, but it didn’t bother me much.)

The room and facilities were beautiful. Our host was also so lovely and helpful with great recommendations.
The location is actually quite scary. I was with my boyfriend and we were both very scared of the area of the property. It is a very frightening walk to the main lovely area of Genoa.

Nice location, close to everything. Good price. Comfortable, clean, had everything we needed. Lovely common kitchen. It was just perfect
