The room and facilities were beautiful. Our host was also so lovely and helpful with great recommendations.

The location is actually quite scary. I was with my boyfriend and we were both very scared of the area of the property. It is a very frightening walk to the main lovely area of Genoa.

Amazing place for stay worth the money

Modern urban dwelling in Centro Storico Genoa

The location is premium: close to all major attractions and transportations; my room is clean, bright (with gorgeous port view), modern and well-designed; the communal space (shared living room and kitchen) is chic and thoughtful; and most importantly, the host Francesca is so warm and welcoming: she really went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable at home.

Lovely stay at Port View

Port View offers fantastic spacious rooms decorated to the highest standard. The bed is very comfortable, I had everything I needed for my stay, even bottles of water. I had a beautiful view over the harbour and it’s a short stroll to the old town, the Principe Station, harbour. Francesca is very welcoming, super friendly, and provides you with all the information you need. She met me at the property before check in so I could store my luggage, and even rang me a taxi for the airport. She let me store my luggage on check out day and I also could stay in the room longer due to other guests arriving late. This was really appreciated. I hope to return again.

It was so great that I would like to return.

Francesca was an excellent host. She met me outside of the property and led me to a nearby parking garage. She helped me get settled into the room and carried heavy suitcases for me I so appreciate her help and patience with me. I’m a senior and she made my stay so wonderful. She also helped me with my luggage when I departed which was exceptional care. I would highly recommend Port View it was a fantastic stay.

I do recommend this guest house, it is so nice that the it out weights any negative and the price point was great.

The rooms are beautiful and Francesca is a fabulous host. It is across from the port so an ideal location for sightseeing.

There are a set of stairs before the elevator, however the host was more than happy to help with luggage up to the elevator. The are is not ideal for a single woman at night. If you are walking from the train station with luggage be advised that the side walks are cobblestone and not that easy for wheeled cases.

Excellent for our short stay!

Interior of the room and bathroom was lovely and was very clean. Good AC for the hot summer weather. Very nice kitchen area where you can get food.

Although the room was very quiet it does look on to the busy motorway bridge. Genoa is an interesting city…

Both my wife and myself had a very pleasant stay at this B and B and would definitely recommend.

The location was excellent - very close to the port / aquarium/hop on hop off bus. The room was lovely and bright with good air conditioning. I must mention Francesca the host who was brilliant - thank you very much for your kindness.

Accessibility was a bit tricky if you have problems going up and down stairs.

Our stay at the Port View was wonderful. Our host Francesca was extremely helpful and informative, with lots of useful guidance about how to reach the destination and what to do in the area. At the property we had exceptional facilities, everything we needed and more. We were very impressed by the kindness from Francesca’s kitchen and the food we could use ( we did leave a donation to show our gratitude). The room design was very comfortable and modern, with elegant features and a good AC which was very much needed in the summer heat.

Our room was deep cleaned each morning, which was a delight we did not expect, but for us who are backpacking and using the destination as a rest spot we did feel like we had to get up and leave the guest house for the room to be cleaned, when we would have preferred to lay in and rest, particularly as our stay was only short. Perhaps this could be an option for guests who have a shorter stay rather than regular practice

Convenient and well located

Wonderfully cozy modern room with a fantastic view. Our bathroom made great use of reclaimed materials for the door and vanity- very cool! Close to sights and great restaurants as well as walking distance from train station. Our host was very responsive and made sure our stay was great. We did not realize that the kitchenette was a common area- but sleeping rooms are removed from that area and each room locks. We did not hear other guests. Thanks for a great stay!

We used Genova as a base to travel all along the Ligurian coast for various day trips. The station was very close.

Immaculate Francesca clearly takes pride in her property She keeps it very clean and presentable and she greeted us at check in and helped us with all local phone numbers and travel information which was very helpful. Kitchen area was great and she provided fresh towels and bedding every day. Francesca is an excellent host

Francesca was fantastic, she went above and beyond of what one would expect from a host to assist with parking, carrying luggage, checking in etc. It was very clean, the room was quiet and she even provided us with a bottle of bubbly for our wedding anniversary and a red rose for my wife. Centrally located close to the waterfront, Old City, and bus routes.

Beautiful views, amazing host, modern property and for a great price.

Francesca was an amazing host who thought of everything you'd need while travelling in Italy. She gave us recommendations, clean facilities (she cleaned our room every day we stayed), comfy bed, beautiful views, air conditioning and the property was right by the port but also so close to the main city square. We did not need to taxi or anything. Everything was within walking distance.

Apartment was fine, location was unsettling

Francesca was lovely and very helpful, the room was comfortable, a good size, the Furnishing was very cute. The bathroom a good size, the bed was very comfortable and the view looked towards the port. There was a shared kitchenette where we made our coffee.

While the apartment itself met our expectations in terms of cleanliness and amenities, we felt uneasy about the surrounding area. There were frequently large groups of people congregating on nearby street corners, which gave the impression of a high-tension environment. This made us feel uncomfortable walking around, especially at night. It may not be ideal for guests who are unfamiliar with the neighborhood or who are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere outside the hotel.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We brought our own breakfast, and had a couple of pastries 🥐 there. The location across from the port was nice. The room seemed a little bigger in the pictures. We were looking for a larger size sign to tell us where the hotel was. Francesca meet us outside, which helped us to locate the hotel.

Directions could’ve been better from which direction to leave from the train station. There were a couple of dirty towels I did not like that was left as if they were clean.

Incredible host and convenient apartment right by Genova Port.

Francesca was an amazing host, really going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and always on hand to answer questions. The apartment was very well soundproofed, which was crucial as it’s located on a very busy main road. The bed was super comfortable.

The street/main road on which the apartment building is situated is a bit rundown, but it is very conveniently located (near the station and the old town).

Cozy nice appartment

The place was exceptionally nice, it's on a busy road but you can't hear a thing inside. I had a really good sleep☺️ There is a shared kitchen, you get coffee, snacks and there is a mini bar inside the room, which was a nice addition. The host was super nice. I recommend!😁

Great for short stay in Genoa

Although the property said no meals included, the kitchen had a great range of snacks - fruits, bread, cakes, cheese plus tea and coffee. We had good instructions to access the property but were also met by the owner. There is noise from the road / port area, but the views are stunning and it is a short walk from the station and from the flat up into the old part of the city. Yes, you would not wander up certain side streets / alleys but this is the case in most ports / cities and it didn't feel unsafe. We had a good meal across the road by the submarine; there was another very close-by restaurant which was highly recommended but it was, understandably, fully booked.
