Great location

Location was amazing, and the hotel was generally well maintained.

Bathroom was a little unclean - hairs from previous occupant, strong odor coming from the toilet. Bar staff were uninterested in serving - sat for 50 minutes waiting for service and ended up leaving. Housekeepers also let themselves in without knocking.

Staff made our stay memorable!

The special care & effort made by Letizia (the Guest Relations Manager), to make our stay exceptional! She is really a gem and her care & time to ensure we had the best time is commendable! The location is very good & central. Good coffee in the room!

The breakfast is disappointing unfortunately. Selection is very limited and the same options that were not consumed on the day, are packed out the next day. No beef options (we don’t eat pork). No fresh juice (only highly concentrated boxed juice). Freshly squeezed orange juice is always nice especially in a country that produces citrus!

A hotel for the 21st century and ideally located to access the old town

The location was good, the staff were efficient, polite and friendly and the bar and restaurant services of a good standard.

Access with a car was complicated and there was a delay to getting access to the private garage as the procedure was not made clear before arrival.

Nice location and facility, but could be a problem and is expensive

Clean and spacious….. and a decent location

AC didn’t work and the rooms were hot. This location also rents out the property to outside groups so paying customers at times don’t have access to the restaurant or seating or the bar. It ruined our stay. The location is also quite expensive and you must pay for parking.

Room much noisier than expected. Many small things: layout of breakfast buffet, position of TV in room, position of bathroom items, no replacement of teabag once consumed, no labelling on bin compartments in room.

I really liked the politeness of the staff, and the location was very good for those who want to be close to the aquarium or explore the city, but the beaches are quite far away.

I didn’t like that if breakfast wasn’t included, you had to pay €35 per person, while the breakfast itself was very minimal. Also, parking cost €22 per day even though I was a guest of the hotel. I really didn’t like these things at all.

Great value for money in quiet location close to the historic centre, very kind and helpful team.

The location is great, the hotel is far enough from the main street and thus it is quiet there. Yet, it is very close to the historic center, just a few steps away. Safe and secure underground parking was available and access was easy. Special thank you to Letizia, who was excellent and kind before and during our stay. She helped us to get a personal guide at short notice, we learned a lot more about Genova than without one, for sure!

Nothin. We had some issues with the aircon during the first night but they sent a technician right away and it got fixed. We didnt have breakfast or any other meal at the hotel, so can't comment on that.

Perfect location to explore the old city of Genoa on foot. Very clean comfortable room. Nice restaurant and cocktail bar. They allowed us to extend our checkout for an hour free then only €18 per hour afterwards allowing us to finish some work in air conditioning.

Elegant and beautifully designed and executed hotel, but some logistical discomfort.

Elevated design, excellent service, good food with local specialties. Very comfortable and sophisticated.

Would be exceptional but the hotel is semi-floating on stilts which is a neat design feature and interesting sensation but made me a little queasy. A storm released sewage into the harbor and the room stank for awhile. A truck doing work by the aquarium made loud noise for the entire day and lights outside were so glaring all night one was forced to keep the curtains entirely shut.

Location in the harbour. The small terrace was nice in the evening.

The views of the Aquarium are not really beautiful. The size of the room was small and the access to the closet difficult.

Good location, clean hotel

Nice location on the harbour, we had a nice view of the boats from our room. Very large comfortable bed and good size room overall. Very clean.

You have to step into a bath to shower. Unfortunately I slipped and almost had a very bad injury. Slip mats should be provided. We didn’t stay in the bar or restaurant as there seemed to be a function. We wouldn’t have anyway due to a couple of children (8-12years old) allowed to run and scream throughout the whole lobby! We went out for at least 4 hours and when back, they were still going! Not sure why this was allowed by staff? Very annoying to other guests and unprofessional

Good location and outlook. Breakfast very good. Staff friendly and efficient.

Shower was awful. Not powerful enough and temperature erratic - sudden bursts of freezing cold water. Much of the tile grout in the bathroom was filthy. This was very off-putting and totally unacceptable n any hotel room, let alone one costing 500 euros per night.

We loved the place the second we checked in to our room, the most comfortable place awesome beds! Such a great find we spent an extra day here in Genoa everything is really close to the hotel for excursions!

Very, very comfortable and elegant

Amazing! It’s the second time we stayed here and the hotel has kept up nicely and smartly. The rooms are large and airy, and the balconies onto the sea are a marvel. Great beds, large and comfy. Very nice breakfast as well.

Great experience in Genoa

Location is great and the breakfast was amazing and exactly what would you expect for a breakfast in Italy. It is quite close to the aquarium and ferries to neighbouring resorts. It is on a walking distance from the old town as well.

The facilities could use some renovations and a swimming pool.

A little pricey

Location was alright. 10mins walk to train station and old town. Check in and checking out was fast. The king size bed was quite comfortable and the room is quite clean. The bathroom is quite big and there's a bathtub. Aircon is working well.

The sofa bed is a little too soft and quite uncomfortable. It would be nice to have an ironing board. There's no swimming pool in the hotel. A little pricey.

Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and clean.

Avoid the restaurant in the evening. Service was absolutely shocking. The waitresses were incapable of delivering even a basic level of customer service. Waited over 40 mins (and had to remind them 4 times) to get drinks and then almost 2 hrs to get food which was delivered cold and virtually inedible. There were only about 6 customers in the restaurant at the time so it wasn't even busy

The matrass was very old, the springs where in my back. They consider them self as dog friendly, but you have to pay 35 euro, sign a contract that the dog is basically not allowed to do more the breathing. He was not allowed in the restaurant, In the evening the terrace was closed due a weather warning (not sure why..). And I the morning again due to the rain. So, instead of eating there, where we looked forward to, we had to go in town, and have breakfast seperated. In the restaurant is a group of tables before you come near the buffet, really don't understand why a dog wouldn't be allowed there. Ruined the ecpierence, where we had to pay a lot for.

Very poor AC system 🔥🤯

Horrible experience with a hotel the room temperature is controllable by hotel staff to 21.8 C for staffing energy I asked many times to reduce it to 18 C there was no response. 18 C is the average sleep temperature as per health doctors to sleep, If you are in a 5 /4-star hotel, the guest has the right to control the temperatures in his room by using the thermostat in the rooms. More, I arrived at the hotel at 05:30 am. Unfortunately, the receptionist charged me one-night cos we arrived in Italy early in the morning due to flight times after they promised not to change one night.
