The barge is really comfortable and well decorated. Very clean and a novel place to stay.
There's no way to really cook anything but we worked around it

Unique property, in a great location, with great views and lovely lounge.
Bunk room really not suitable for 2 adults, as the lower bunk too little headroom. This wasn't obvious in the pictures

Cosy, beautiful boat and location. Really comfy beds and nice and warm. Lovely hosts.
Weather was poor and may have impacted this as we found the extent of the rocking motion of the boat challenging and the noises from this. Hard to sleep, and with rain noise on roof. Also no hot water one morning.

The location of the barge is excellent.
The barge flooring - cabin deck is damp giving off a musty smell - the swollen flooring made opening and closing the bathroom door very difficult - the door opening into the main cabin had a similar issue. The barge is tired and needs maintenance and updating. It does not look like the pictures displayed. It is not made clear on booking that you are not booking the entire barge but half on it. The barge is split into 2 separate self contained accommodation units. It could be wonderful but I wouldn't book it again.

Location excellent in Titanic quarter. Comfortable and cosy. Quiet and secure. Easily found by taxi. More facilities than explained in the advert, eg galley kitchen with cooke and fridger, hair drier, shower work towels and hand soap.
Not sure I would easily have found easily without the taxi drivers help. Was lots of tea and coffee but no decaff. Slight holiday caravan smell, which is understandable and not intrusive

Barge was lovely clean and warm, u didn't realize when booking it that other people were staying on it as well, I thought it was the whole barge other than that was nice
Close to arena

Visiting friends in Belfast, Barge at Titanic is the perfect place to stay in terms of both location and privacy of own space, You can easily get out and about or alternatively have an amazing space to chill if that’s what you want.
There’s nothing not to like. Super clean barge with everything you could need for a stay, fab location, brilliant comms with host. Already been twice and we’ve just booked for 2026.

The Barge at the titanic was amazing! We feel so fortunate to have been able to stay their during our trip around Ireland. The hosts provided excellent directions and were easily accessible. Thank you for our lovely stay!

Absolutely wonderful. Will definitely stay again. We have stayed in many (and varied) places in Belfast, but this tops them all.
Absolutely nothing. All perfect.

Location was fantastic , beside all main amenities. Weather was lovely , it was lovely to sit out on the barge & watch the lovely boats & yacht's. Great parking & sse arena facilities were fantastic. Overall we really enjoyed our stay & would love to come again.

We loved the location, and the experience of staying on a houseboat. Great memories were made.
Some small details were missed in the cleaning before our arrival (e.g. there was a full ashtray left on the seating outside, and there was not enough toilet paper)

Fantastic location and loved the view of the water and the seagulls eating mussels. Accommodation very clean and well thought out. Great living room and sitting out area. Pleasantly surprised that boat didn't move too much in the strong winds!
Bunk bed room a little cramped for tall teens.

Something a little different while having everything you need in an amazing location! We had fun with the kids at all the local attractions and everything that the Odyssey has to offer during the day and then chilled on the boat at night. Self check in for relaxed check-in but the owner is only a text message away.
The kids will be telling people for months about how they stayed on a barge!
There was absolutely nothing we didn’t enjoy about our stay!

Loved the location
Very cramped. The outside space our end was tiny. The photos of it, made everything look alot more spacious than it actually was. Bit grubby.

Views were beautiful. Nice to have outside space. The shower was an amazing size considering it's on a barge. Location was very cool. Very near to the Titanic museum and there were shops and food right nearby. Also a good location for walking along the river into Belfast centre.
The lock on one door was broken, though they did send someone to have a look. Not the front door, so no biggie. Not really their issue, and they do mention parking is cheaper elsewhere, but the most convenient parking right next to the barge was very expensive. It was a toss up of convenience over cost.

The location was superb and the lounge area was a real bonus.
A little difficult to access the bed if you have mobility issues.

The views
Wasn't what we expected nothing like the photos and not very clean at all and you only get half of the boat and bunk beds are very small

Great location
Marina facilities and restaurants so close
Lots of power points
Some teabags and coffee no milk
Nice decor and comfy bed
Very compact - tiny fridge, Oven old.
No hanging space for clothes other than a few hooks for coathangers.
One bag rack.
Tiny bathroom would benefit from a shelf and another in the shower other than the porthole sill
No PowerPoint for dryer in bathroom but there were 2 hair dryers
Lounge very low and soft ugh
Most of the blind “pulls” were broken
Only 1 teaspoon in cutlery
Noisy neighbours (other half of barge)

The location!
I wish I hadn’t booked this property it is really a health hazard! 🤮
It could do with a good clean, glasses, cups, plates and cutlery were so greasy they had a grey film of dirt! The kitchen sponge hadn’t been replaced in months. We had to wash items before we could use them, big chips in the cups.
The damp and mould issues were horrendous especially if we had children. The cord on the blind was broken (this was reported 3 years ago) plus mould on the back of the blind near a light fixture that was covered in black mould. Near a bunk bed for sleeping.
Apparently, the boat had been cleaned! It was clear that this had been very minimal as there was really no evidence of cleaning. Black mould under all the kitchen cabinets.
The cover of the settee was filthy it hadn’t been washed in months.
The whole place looks lovely in pictures but in reality it is a filthy hazzard! I would definitely not book again. Not enough space to show photos!

The little kitchenette was great and we could sit on the small balcony with a glass of wine at night. The kids loved the bunk beds. Easy walk into the Cathedral Quarter and to the Titanic Museum.
From the photos we didn’t realize how small it would be. It was fine for 2 nights but I don’t think our family of 4 could have stayed longer.

The Barge is beautiful and has everything you need. We were a group of 4 and enjoyed every minute. It's location in Titanic Quarter is great as is its proximity to the city centre. It's a special and unique experience. We will be back.
A bigger fridge if space permits.

Beautiful boat, very tranquil setting with loads of amenities and tourist attractions on your door step.
The barge has a motor that runs for the toilet which run almost consistently and this noise was irritating when trying to sleep as it’s right next to bedroom but this is obviously part of the deal when choosing to stay on a barge.

Great location and my kids (9 and 11) absolutely loved being on a boat! The Spar was a lifesaver for a quick breakfast and snacks. Easy walk into town for dinner, and loads for the children to do in the area. The boat had a small TV and Firestick on it. The weather was perfect for our trip so we were really lucky. We had a great time exploring NI and hopefully will be back again.
Nothing! It is small, as you would expect for a barge, so probably not to everyone's taste, but if you're looking for something a bit different and novel, it's perfect, especially for primary school-aged children. I probably wouldn't recommend it for younger children.

Could not pick a better location for titanic museum and restaurants.

Location excellent just a few steps from the arena for concert we were attending !
Would have been great if a toaster rather than using the very small oven which was fiddly to use..

The host informed us that the Marina was closed due to the recent storm damage. However, the host ensured we found suitable alternative accomodation for our stay in Belfast. Obviously this was out of the host's control, but the host handled it with excellent professionalism throughout to reach an above and beyond conclusion for my family.
Our only regret is that we didn't get to experience the barge. We had a walk down beside the barge and it looks really good from the outside 👍, and very handy for Titanic museum, being only a short walk from the rest of the city centre.

Lovely quirky little place to stay in a great location!.
Expensive parking & perhaps a few extra bits to make cooking easier but otherwise very enjoyable!.
3.0 / 10.0
The view of the Harbour was superb but the boat was moored in between two other bigger vessels impacting privacy in and on the boat.
The owner insists to meet upon arrival, felt he was intrusive, made it about himself to talk and overstay his welcome without regard for our own holiday itinerary or time. Stated initially I didn't need to know the keypad code to the boat until he had finished his spiel. Essentially refusing to leave until he was finished talking. It was not necessary for the owner to meet and greet at the boat! Didn't feel right!

Great idea for an apartment something different and on a beautiful setting
No space for food or cooking or even a bottle of juice needs a proper fridge

Great communicators. Gillian was quick to answer any questions and give information. Micheal is a true gentleman. Pleasant, very informative and available at all times
Accommodation above as the last night, they were very noisy and felt like they were coming through the ceiling
