Evening meal and breakfast were very good. Staff very accommodating letting me stay on in the room for an extra hour due to timing of a funeral I was attending and letting me leave my bag there

The staff were particularly friendly and welcoming.
The room was pleasant and clean, but was small, with barely enough room to move easily round the beds. It would also have been nice to have had access to some sort of sitting room.

Best food Best staff Cozy clean room .
The nicest of staff . Young girl carried my case up 2flights of stairs as I couldn’t manage and with a smile and no bother . Room was as expected and very cozy . Food excellent . Cooked Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection . Owner very hospitable and helpful . Thoroughly recommend .
Didn’t realise there was 37stairs and no lift up to room . My fault for not checking but managed it anyway and there was an armchair between levels if you need to rest .

Stonehaven's hidden gem
Stayed here often and yet to have a complaint .. shared facilities were clean (usually have en-suite when I travel with my wife) Breakfast was superb as ever Perfect location for the train station and a brisk walk into town.. Stonehaven.. I love it!
