Fantastic location, basic equipment, great for a short stay.
I was happy with my stay, though staff was rather “doing the job”, a little smile or how are you, would have been nice.

Quiet room, lovely bathroom and great view out onto the sea!
The staff were attentive and friendly.
The location is perfect for walking to Dunnottar Castle nearby - one of the most inspiring coastal walks I have done.
The staff were friendly and let me store my luggage for a few hours before leaving.
I had a lovely meal at the pub downstairs!
Checkout is at 10 which is earlier than most hotels. It would have been great to have a slightly longer checkout time.

Friendly staff, well laid out, nice rooms and comfy beds.
Pillows were like wafers, bins outside window being collected at 06.30. Room was quite chilly.
