Disappointed.

I had a back injury but still had to climb to the top floor 30+ stairs up and 30+ down. No alternative even though I did ask. I asked for the door to be cleaned inside as someone had spilt liquid on it.

The hotel was warm in freezing condition, so much so I had to turn the heating down Breakfast was plentiful and varied Room was spacious and well equipped Local takeout Meyden (2 minute walk)was superb and excellent value for money

I wasn't sure at first on how to get in as there was lock boxes outside so I tried the 4 digit code i had on all of them. Didn't work so I tried the door lol. It was open to the main hall.

Room was cosy, tea/coffee facilities. I was able to stay extra night, last min. Great, friendly service. Breakfast was a surprise, good value. Good location, short walk into town.

Walls are pretty thin, I listened to next door's snoring during night and morning.

Paid £150 for night to get toilet in room and the shared toilet was right outside the door so didn’t sleep at all with people in all night didn’t stay for breakfast just up and left just didn’t feel easy in the room

Better each time

Returning guest , Anna is very responsive and quick to answer any queries, I like the no fuss check in , all basics provided and clean . Beds are comfortable , location is just a short walk from the shore . Good selection for breakfast . Would stay again .

Brilliant!

Amazing place to stay, really affordable and plenty of clean facilities. The breakfast provided was amazing and the ability to cook your own food as well was brilliant! Having everything accessible to use at your will was great.

We tried to find the clothes dryer but couldn’t, however this may be a fault of our own.

Well organised, clean and gone

You can’t fault Rooms at 31 - overall they do everything you need. Yes the room was a little scuffed and worn and could have done with a refresh of paint, however: The level of cleanliness was excellent - you couldn’t fault the bathroom it was spotless and so shiny Anna and Jarak do a lot to make the accommodation clean, they regularly check-in each day and are very welcoming, plus the breakfast bar is well stocked with loads of fresh fruit, yoghurts everyday. There wasn’t anything you were left wanting for. This is an unfancy, working and convenient place to stay - a great place to make your day out from that felt homely !

Comfortable and convenient

Nice large room on ground floor with own bathroom. Everything was clean and fresh. Great location with lots of parking on street. Check in was picking up a key!

A little noise from utility cupboards in the room but otherwise it was a quiet room. The lack of presence of an owner was a bit odd. Didn't seem to be any problem with security but while I was there someone came in and went out, both times leaving the front door wide open.

I enjoyed the short stay, my bed was comfortable and I loved the room too.

The property was cozy, comfy loved the energy bit quirky. I love it. 💖grateful for the sweet treats hehe 😜 they provided these biscuits 🍪 and little pastries and coffee and tea in all rooms :) which was a good plus. I would come back :)

Location. Easy access. Generally well appointed and looked inviting. Nice kitchen/ breakfast setup.

Building Entry door unlocked at all times and no staff onsite so anyone could access common areas. Probably a safe town but worrying. Room seemed to have a mould/ damp issue

Perfect place to stay in Stonehaven!

Location was great, short walk to the sea. Very clean and cosy. Plenty to eat for continental breakfast. Did not meet the host but had good contact via messages. Would stay here again definitely.

I was happy with everything. My private bathroom was directly outside my room which was not a problem for me.
