Brilliant

Staff were all so lovely and friendly and welcoming, got parked right outside- great selection of beers - lovely room with view over the harbour which I loved loved loved - good dinner with warm bread and olives, good wines, good food, table by the window, good selection for a continental breakfast, with boiled eggs and cooked salmon, and cheese, and croissants, and rowies, this was a great stay and great all round, thanks to everyone.

nothing I didnt like, it was great to feel so welcome, gin and tonic was superb - great atmosphere here -

Room was on the top floor which was a bit of a hike. A few bits and pieces are starting to look / feel a bit tired.

Lovely bar downstairs. Room overlooked the harbour. Continental breakfast was fine, evening meal very good. Lovely staff. Free parking outside.

Loved th location and the fun atmosphere of living above the pub!!

Loved the view and the atmosphere! The convenience was so amazing too! The bar staff, especially Connor, was super friendly sly and helpful.

We loved it all and we even thought the smell was of old whiskey which gave it charm!!

The perfect location for a beautiful stay.

The location and the view were absolutely stunning, the room was lovely and fresh and clean and comfortable and the staff could not do enough to help. The food, drink and service in the pub were also brilliant, along with the unexpected continental breakfast.

There was nothing we would have improved - even the sun came out.

Bar stinks of Urine and the Beds at small and uncomfortable .

The Location , over looking the Harbour . Fantastic view

The Bed way tooo small and hard . The soap advertised as Perthshire finest was a cheap ALDI substitute. The Bar smelt of Urine , probably because the very busy gents toilet was right next to it . Toke nod to double door access but in effect straight in and out . The Ladies was up a mammoth flight of stairs and situated next to the open kitchen and the restuarant .

Nice view and location, but too many other issues, not worth the money

Location was good with great views Bed was comfy No shared toilet thankfully, despite being advertised as such.

Room very dusty had a coughing fit due to dust, no Scottish breakfast, advertised as a shared toilet which it was not thankfully, very noisy could hear next room TV on even with ear plugs in, kettle a nightmare, hot water everywhere. definitely not worth the money.

I can't fault this hotel,the staff were very friendly and helpful it was in a great location.The bed was really comfortable and the room was nice and cool compared to other hotels I have stayed in. I will definitely be back.

Superb view by the sea. Lovely rooms and the food was good. We enjoyed it so much so will return again to Stonehaven in the future.

No lift and a lot of stairs for my mum who's 94 to go up and down. A cooked breakfast would have been good.

Lovely small, very friendly hotel, absolutely gorgeous view from our room.. great bar downstairs with a huge beer selection and even bigger whiskey selection, nice restaurant on middle floor Rooms well modernised

Views from the room were spectacular. The bar was great, really nice setting and the selection of drinks was great. Could do with a few more flavoured gins (but that's just personal preference). Staff were super friendly and great to chat to. Food was also really good. Didn't realise breakfast was included which was a bonus. Simple breakfast (Cereals, pastries and cold cut meats and cheeses) but still good 😊

Would have been an excellent stay except by 2 important issues

Room , including bathroom, lovely decor

Luke warm shower at night real disappointing. Very warm first thing in morning Great dinner Breakfast served too late for me to start work . Promised a continental breakfast , didn't receive it .Had to leave after 8am saw no one and had to find way out as usual exit was locked. Went out fire exit not knowing if that would set off alarm
