Disappointing to say the least.
An adequate accommodation, but totally devoid of charm or ambience. Rural position, but just off a busy road, and no views at all. Bit grubby - the carpets seriously need replacing or proper cleaning, and the sofa in the sitting room is worn out, and collapsed in the middle. TV is not smart - no wifi connection or streaming. Totally overpriced at +_ £250/night; I was expecting exceptional, and landed up with mediocre. Hard to think of anything to praise - the visiting Peacock was the only highlight. Owner was not particularly friendly or welcoming. I would totally give this place a miss...

Lovely homely accommodation, extremely spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Great location for exploring Derbyshire, Millennium Walkway and Lud's Church. Walking distance to. Pub in Biggin. Percy the Peacock was a welcome visitor.

Cute cottage ideal for a weekend in the Peaks
We have very much enjoyed our weekend at this cute, spacious cottage. Comfortable beds, great bathroom, convenient location, parking space in front. Friendly, efficient communication with the owner. Good value for money. I'd definitely come back for another outdoorsy weekend in the Peaks.
It's a very minor thing but it's a bit odd that the two bedrooms don't have a door.
