Having just returned from our trip we felt we should share our experience and also give anyone looking to book a few insights which might be useful. All the pre arrival communication was great and Nigel is a lovely host. The cottage reminded us of staying at a grand parents house and what we mean by that is that the property has a very cosy feel and all the items in the kitchen are mix and match items which is unlike what alot of properties we have stayed in are like. Different knifes and forks and plates etc, it feels like the items in the cottage have been collected over a life time. There is a small tv in the front room but we watched streaming service etc so no issues there. They also have a nice late 90's / early 2000's hi fi system with tape deck and vinyl which was kind of cool.Upstairs there is no tv in the main bedroom so if you like to watch tv before sleeping you will need to consider your own solution but we had our laptop so no problems there. One area that was a minor nusance was that the water pressure is very low so as someone that likes a bath over showers i would have had to wait a very long time to run a bath so in the end we just stuck to showers.Lots of labels around the property to let you know what to do or where things are and you are pretty much left alone to enjoy your holiday. It is in an area with about 10 other properties and thats it...nothing else nearby.Nice place, very quiet and peaceful

This was a lovely cottage, which had everything required for a stay with dogs. The enclosed garden was a plus as it meant the dogs could be safely let out.I would highly recommend this cottage for couples or a family to enable you to explore the Peaks National Park.

The cottage was so lovely, homely, warm and inviting. The area is just stunning, absolutely loved it. If you are looking for a country get away then this is the place. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and genuine nice people. Thankyou so much for a great few days
