Fabulous apartment with lovely terrace in a terrific location

The best location you could ask for!!

The steps inside of the apartment did get a bit tiresome. Every time you got up to go anywhere in the apartment you had to go up or down steps.

The apartment was ideal for us and the welcome pack was much appreciated.

The apartment was very well equipped, very comfortable and in a really central location. The terrace was a real bonus. The fact that there was a supermarket very close was a real plus too. The bus station was at the end of the road, and the train station only 10 minutes away. Lucca is a great base for sightseeing - Florence, Viareggio, Montecatini and Pisa were easily reached.

Stairs were the only drawback - those leading up to the apartment were steep. The steps inside the apartment didn’t present a problem, apart from the second of the steps up to the bedroom. However, we recognise the stairs would not be a problem to younger people ( we are both in our 70s).

SUPER SUPER! Great place and fantastic host

Jan was an absolute gent and met us at the train and brought us to the apartment as he was in Lucca already! The apartment is super central and so easy to navigate Lucca . The terrace was a treasure in the summer heat and the aircon was super helpful (although we rarely used it) This is a super super place and I will 100% be back to stay

Nothing! Even the stairs I got used to - but I knew there were stairs when I booked, so not a surprise. I found myself going out to the shop as an excuse to get the steps in :-)

Amazing spacious apartment with a beautiful terrace.

We loved our stay in Lucca! The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable and in a good location. Everything was within walking distance to get to such as the city wall, (I ran around it every morning!) landmarks, bars and restaurants, shops and a big supermarket. Our favourite spot was the beautiful terrace to relax on especially in the late afternoon in the sunshine, after a busy day exploring. Jan was a very helpful, welcoming and friendly host with good communication. Highly recommend staying here as it’s near to the city but in a quieter location with good amenities close by. There’s a well stocked supermarket with helpful assistants on the same street as well as a coffee shop and bakery (which had vegan croissants for me!) and a lovely ice cream bar. Wish we were back in Lucca!

Excellent apartment in centre of Lucca definitely recommended

Excellent location situated right in the heart of Lucca just off Piazza Napoleone. Very spacious and well equipped apartment. It has a lovely terrace. Jan, the host is English speaking and very helpful. We have been to Lucca several times and this was definitely the best apartment we have had.

Like so many apartments in Lucca it is up three flights of stairs which you soon get used and Jan helped us with our cases when we arrived

Innerhalb der Stadtmauer, ganz nah am Zentrum von Lucca und doch ruhig über den Dächern der Stadt.

Der Gastgeber war sehr hilfsbereit und hat auch Fragen per Whatsapp während des Aufenthalts beantwortet. Die Loggia war sensationell, man konnte Mitte Oktober noch ein Glas Wein draußen genießen.

super Wohnung in phantastischer Lage. Jederzeit wieder

Das Apartment hat eine super Lage innerhalb der Stadtmauer. Zum Be- und Entladen ist direkt ein Parkplatz vor der Tür. Parken kann man außerhalb der Stadtmauer kostenlos. Unser Vermieter ist sehr sympathisch und die Schlüsselübergabe reibungslos. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, besitzt eine Klimaanlage und ist der perfekte Startpunkt für einen Städtetrip.

Lucca ist wunderschön, diese Wohnung ist an perfekter Lage und sehr gemütlich.

Der Besitzer Jan war sehr freundlich und entgegen kommend. Man kann direkt vor dem Haus mit dem Auto die Koffer ausladen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Es hat einen separaten begehbaren Schrank mit Waschmaschine! PS: Die von anderen negativ erwähnten ungleichmässigen Treppen im Haus und Stufen in der Wohnung rühren vom Alter der Liegenschaft. Mit einem Nachtlicht stürzt man auch nicht...
