Maison Deco - Timeless elegance

Everything was beautiful and close to all attractions. We had a lovely stay in this property, and would definitely stay here again.

Maison Deco was a wonderful base for our family's second visit to Lucca. Last time, we stayed a little way outside the walls, and this time we wanted to be on the inside! The location is excellent. We were within walking distance of the train station and everything we wanted to visit, and there are several bars offering breakfast, lunch, and aperitivi within a block of the apartment, as well as bike rentals for exploring the city or riding around on the city walls (which you should definitely do!). The apartment itself is spacious and well-appointed. The kitchen is especially notable for its size, and there are both a washer and dryer there, although we found that hanging our clothes to dry made more sense. The ceilings are soaring, and the beautifully tiled floors, different in each room, are especially charming. There's a big, comfortable living room and three generously-sized bedrooms, each with a full or queen-sized bed. Our teens enjoyed having their own rooms, and we all slept very well. The air-conditioning worked great. One word to the wise: the apartment is on the third floor, with no elevator. For us, the challenge of getting our luggage up all the stairs was well worth it for the great location and the beauty, comfort, and spaciousness of the apartment. We had no trouble contacting our host on WhatsApp to get the keys, and at the end of our visit, we just left them inside. We would love to stay at Maison Deco again!

We were unfamiliar with the coffee maker, and instructions might have been nice. I would have liked the option of a moka for making coffee.

The flat is very beautifully decorated. All three bedrooms have air con which was highly-appreciated during these hot summer days. The location is perfect too.

It's not that I didn't like it, but perhaps I hadn't noticed that the apartment is on the 3rd floor, so walking up and down for some people may not be easy.
