Spectacular experience!!

We loved the apartment! It was better than the pictures and so enjoyable. The terrace, rooms and bathrooms were all lovely. We would have loved to stay longer! Excellent location.

There are a few stairs, but just the landlord helped with the luggage and was very helpful.

Spotless, spacious and beautiful

Everything! The apartment is huge, spotless, perfectly located (a short and easy walk from the train station), has everything you might need and is comfortable. The terrace is a perfect little oasis to relax after a busy day of walking. We hope to return!

Wonderful well equipped stay within the heart of Lucca

We had a wonderful stay here in our time in Lucca. This place was a fantastic find within the walls of the city and the location was perfect, not too far from the wall, close to the train station and a variety of restaurants, cafes etc. The apartment had everything we could need and was lovely in almost every regard, despite our hard to please nature. The terrace in particular was excellent, however we were unable to enjoy it as much due to extreme high temperatures during our visit. This bring us to the second best thing however, the air conditioning, it is available in every room and gave us a safe haven to escape the high temperatures.

Please look at this as ways to improve an already almost perfect stay. - The bins are a little small and confusing as to which was which (recycling), and the bags were hard to locate. - Some of the plug sockets did not work with our adapters (not sure why) and the ones next to the bed were a little awkward to use. - The spark light on the cooker top does not work and I had to use matches to light, however not too much of a problem. - Pillows. Always seems to be a thing for us wherever we go, but they were a bit thin and a little lumpy.

Four nights in Lucca, allowing us time to explore Lucca and take day trips to Pisa and Cinque Terre.

Great location, convenient walking from the train station. Traffic free quiet street, cafe on the corner, easy walk throughout Lucca within the walls. Also loved the terrace with potted flowers and trees for relaxing outdoors, even though it was a bit cool and windy when we were there. Comfortable rooms and beds, living room and kitchen. Everything you might need!

An elegant and comfortable apartment

Absolutely beautiful apartment that is spotless ,quiet ,close to everything , food ,transport ,supermarkets all the things required ,to make a great stay even better I would recommend a longer stay to take advantage of the lovely terrace . And thank you to the host Luciano , he is a true gentleman helping us with our bags up the stairs ,leaving a welcome gift for us , explaining everything clearly and being accessible should help be required . I mentioned stairs , do not let this deter you we both have knee issues and went up and down several times a day without problem.

It would be a challenge for us to find any fault here .

Large, clean, well located apartment a short walking distance from the train station…

We were at the beautiful apartment in January. It took a while to heat the approximate 1100 square feet home. Washing machine only with no tumble dryer. Three flights of stairs. No elevator.

A really beautiful, calm, immaculate apartment with a flowery roof garden

Beautiful, elegant, huge, quiet apartment with a really lovely roof garden! The place was immaculate, kitchen had everything you could need plus a proper espresso maker. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms sensational… just a wonderful place to stay. It was peaceful to come home after a day exploring Lucca and it was so clean and comfortable that we had a really relaxing stay.

Lovely apartment within the walls.

The apartment was very spacious and beautifully appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The terrace was lovely and most enjoyable in the morning and evening with pleasant views. It was an easy walk to the train station, the walls and all parts of central Lucca. The host was very helpful and on site if needed.

The apartment is on the top floor with three flights of stairs.

La Terrazza is a real find! Elegant, complete apartment and outdoor space, affordable.

What's not to like in a spacious, elegant apartment with enclosed patio, full kitchen, heat as needed, two bedrooms and two baths? Secure locks. Not far walk from train station or major sites, shops and restaurants. Parking outside the walls affordable. Cabs available.

Being on floor 2 (3rd fl) was a bit tough for us at our age.

We liked everything about this property. It was a wonderful stay. Our host Luciano was welcoming and the perfect host.

The weather could have been warmer but Luciano has no control over that.

This is an exceptional property. We were there for a 6 night stay recently and it was our 3rd. visit. The apartment is roomy and comfortable, the location ideal and Luciano is an excellent host.

My second brief visit to Lucca which I found utterly delightful.

Luciano, our host, could not have been more helpful. The apartment was very spacious and the terrace was a promising bonus given the changeable weather. Every convenience was provided including detailed information. I could happily live there.

To mention the stairs is somewhat unfair but as a traveller if your luggage is heavy beware. My only problem was the discomfort of the single bed. It is very narrow and the pillows were, for me, also uncomfortable. My companion also found his pillows a problem. Are feather pillows considered impractical and unhygienic or do they not exist in Italy?

Wonderf7l! Our favourite apartment of a four month trip.

Absolutely everything! It is a big airy apartment with high ceilings and lots of light that leads onto a lovely terrace with flowers and even a lemon tree. There’s a well stocked kitchen. The furniture is comfortable, the air conditioning and wifi are excellent and the host is so gracious and helpful. If it is available when you need it - grab it. You will love it.

Incredibly special, cozy and clean apartment

The Host was so kind and accommodating and arrival was made easy by the host who met us and assisted us. The apartment was quiet and so incredibly clean. Optimal location too, just steps from everything. The kitchen was the best part, we spent most of our time there. We really enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you!
