Comfortable apartment and fair value for money

The apartment suited our needs. 2 bedrooms with the option of an extra bed on the first floor. A small living room, dining area and kitchen. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has a young and pleasant atmosphere. There were enough towels and cleaning supplies. Equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher (we didn't need to use them). The location of the apartment is within the walls of the old city, which is fun, and on the other hand, it is relatively close to walking distance to possible overnight parking within the walls.

The apartment is located in an original old building of the city of Lucca on the fourth floor (there are 4 flights of stairs). We knew about this in advance and for us, a couple with two children, it was not a problem. Parking inside the premises requires payment from 08:00 to 20:00 and up to a maximum of 2 hours. We left the city during the day, but anyone planning to leave their car during the day should take into account that the paid parking period is limited, and it may be better to unload their staff and park nearby outside the walls.

Great location, spacious flat. Very comfy bed. All modern. Recommended!! Negative: Staircase full of beetles.At arrival the bedroom was locked and the host was not available until 22:30.

Not negative, just highlighted: Not for old people, the flat is on 3rd floor without a lift.

Clean, bright, well maintained in the heart of Lucca. Excellent communication from the host with arrival details. 2 good sized double rooms with lots of storage. Good wifi.

Kitchen was missing some basic supplies like a sharp knife, chopping board and corkscrew. Up 4 flights of stairs (not a criticism but sharing information for those with heavy bags or limited mobility)

El apartamento es muy bonito, todo tal cual las fotos. Lo unico malo son las escaleras con el equipaje, costaba un poco.

Molto piacevole.

L’appartamento è molto ben organizzato negli spazi e molto funzionale. Nonostante si tratti di un appartamento mansardato le altezze sono adeguate e le finestre permettono l’aerazione dei locali ad eccezione del bagno e c’è anche un soppalchino nella zona living con ulteriore recupero di spazio. L’appartamento è ideale per soggiorni brevi in famiglia ed estremamente funzionale, accogliente e dotato di tutto ciò che può rendere gradevole il soggiorno.

Come la maggior parte delle case dentro le mura di Lucca, l’immobile non dispone di ascensore e le scale sono impegnative e possono rappresentare un limite in presenza di bambini piccoli. Per gli adulti che invece non hanno limitazioni nella deambulazione è solo cardio gratuito che rimpiazza la sessione di work out in palestra :-) Il proprietario molto correttamente ne fa esplicita menzione nella descrizione dell’immobile quindi nessuna sorpresa.

Sehr schönes, sauberes Appartment an Toplage!

Etwas mühsam sind die steilen Treppen, vor allem mit Gepäck. Das sollte irgendwo vermerkt werden. Wir sind schon ältere Semester und hatten Mühe, einen Koffer zu transportieren.
