Great location, great apartment.

Great location within the city walls and just on the edge of the old town which meant it was very quiet, and with parking very close which was 10 euro per day. Apartment was bright and airy, modern and clean. Thanks to Giulia for meeting us at the apartment and for giving suggestions on where to go in the area. Would be happy to stay again.

This was an excellent stay at a clean spacious apartment. We would happily book again.

Fantastic spacious apartment in a great location. Clean and tidy with all the facilities we would expect, and located close to the historic attractions, the city walls and the railway station. It was great to be welcomed by the host and have an introduction to the property in person.

Would go back tomorrow the apartment and the City

Giulia the host greeted us at the door, pleasant and very helpful, showed us around the apartment, Walk in shower was to die for , just everything was 10/10 . Lovely little touches were washing machine pods, dish washer pods , washing up liquid,paper kitchen towel , not that we used them as we only stayed 3 nights, everything that you wound need in the bathroom as well. Location, across the road to the city wall, nice slope to walk up to it , close to centre 2 minutes walk, bike hire just outside . Could go on & on , we loved the apartment and loved the city 🩷

Lovely apartment close to the centre of lucca.

Great location for easy access into the centre of lucca.

The air conditioning in one of the bedrooms didn’t work very well (and there was no AC in the main living area), but it was particularly hot when we were there so this wouldn’t be an issue at other times of the year.

Excellent, would 100% recommend

Very clean and tidy, air con was exceptionally good, beds were very comfy, big bathroom and large shower. Host was very nice and talked us through the property and how everything worked, plenty of storage for clothing etc. 100% recommend.

Villa Cittadella is ideally placed just inside the walls to explore Lucca. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely recommend to friends and family

Great value for money

Beautiful apartment, with a simple but beautiful decoration. It had everything that you needed. Inside the walls of Lucca but in a super quiet location, with possibility of parking at seconds of the apartment. Giannino was really nice and he welcomed us with a smile. He explained us everything too.

Giannino is super helpful and friendly. The appartement is clean and cosy, equipped with all necessities and beyond. The location is amazing, close to everything inside the wall, have a parking spot just in front of it. Beds are amazing, I slept superbly.

We loved it!

The location was perfect. Hosts were lovely and the accommodation was great. Apartment was clean and the kitchen had all that you need and the bathroom was fabulous. We loved staying here and as a family of 5 (with 3 tall teenagers), would definitely recommend it. We would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic property, great host even before we arrived was assisting us in the booking.

The location within the walls was perfect. Everything that we were looking for was within walking distance, bars,restaurants and in our case gig venues. Importantly the host was very helpful and polite asking if he could help us with anything that we required.

The air conditioning could have been a little better. I will however point out that the weather was exceptionally hot with some record breaking temperatures so therefore possibly understandable.

Convenient and super bathroom

We had a great stay in Cittadella. Very comfortable apartment inside the wall. We were there for the Summer Music festival so it was super convenient. Parking is across the road for €10 a day.

I enjoyed my stay immensely. Highly recommend!

The unit feels recently remodeled and all the amenities are quite new and modern. Super comfortable bed . Quiet. Huge bathroom. The proximity within the walls of the city but close to them so could easily go for a walk there. Also close to the train station. It has amazing views from the bedroom window of the trees on the wall . A very good bike rental steps from the apartment and close to a well stocked grocery store that was open all day ! The host was generous in letting me do a bag drop in the morning and called as soon as the rental was cleaned and available!

This is more like a tip to the host to have the soap dispensers checked regularly (they were almost empty) ..perhaps leave a few laundry pods for the washing machine and some choices of teas for guests who don’t drink coffee. Little gestures that go a long way when you’re traveling .

Exceptional

Lovely owners, and well-decorated, well-maintained, well-equipped, very clean, excellent apartment with everything working properly. Lovely bathroom as well. Bed was very comfortable and the towels were excellent quality as well. Location is also excellent and very convenient - about 10 minutes walk from the station (easy enough to walk even with luggage, as it is flat and quite even pavement), all well as being just a minute walk to the city was and about 5-8 minutes' walk to the city's main sights. I would definitely stay at this apartment again on my next visit to Lucca. I honestly can't fault this apartment.

highly recommend this property in Luca

This is an amazing property within the city walls of Luca the host was fantastic and so helpful, he even helped with our luggage. the property was truly amazing and well thought out. We traveled by car from Barcelona so we opted for the parking option, loved the location so close to the supermarket also. I have to admit this place had the best air conditioning in the last 6 weeks travel In Europe. I would highly recommend this property if you want to see the beautiful village of Luca.

the only downside of this place there was no dishwasher but hey was great to talk to my wife while hand washing the dishes.

wonderful relaxed stay in Lucca

Perfect stay in Lucca. We could not have been received with a more personal and warm welcome. The host reacts quickly and gives a great service. The apartment is spot on: comfortable beds, great view and location There is even a fine solution to leave the car, not the easiest of fears in Lucca! We had a wonderful stay, and when we return, we will happily stay here again!

Exceptional

Villa Cittadella exceeded our expectations. The flat was simply gorgeous. First of all, the locations was super good and easy to reach, the neighborhood was great. The flat was very clean, beautifully arranged with furniture and not only that, but it was very stylish and we liked the interior design a lot. The arrangement inside was also nice, kitchen fully supplied, and the bathroom was huge. In a nutshell, this flat gives you a positive and relaxing feeling, and everything was in the right place.

Great place to visit Lucca and Toscany

Very convenient location, in the city centre. Great base to visit Toscany. 30 mins drive from the sea. Good connection with Florence. Tip: Best public beach is in Tirrenia. The place looks as on the photos, it has been recently renovated and everything feels new. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are very comfortable, huge nice bathroom, a lot of space, air-conditioning is in one part of the house (in two bedrooms). WiFi works ok. Giannino was very helpful, friendly and responsive. He was sorting out all our problems quickly. There was even a washing machine.

Small disadvantages: no dishwasher, steep stairs on the staircase. Notice: closed parking is extra charged 10eur per day, but we were informed about this fact in advance so it was not surprising. Little disadvantages do not change the fact that we enjoyed the place and the whole stay very much.

We couldn't have asked for better.

The apartment is newly renovated and sparkling clean. There is a ton of light, the rooms are large and the bathroom is fabulous. Excellent location. This is a beautiful, serene place to stay. Good wi-fi, quiet at night. Very helpful host.

As an American, I'm used to screens in windows. There are none here and mosquitos do visit. But that's it. Nothing else was problematic.

Fantastische tijd gehad in villa Citadella Lucca

De lokatie is echt fantastisch, overal dichtbij en toch rustig. Ook is het appartement zelf heel groot en in een oud gebouw waardoor het heerlijk koel was. Voelde eigenlijk na een paar dagen al aan als thuis ipv als een vakantie appartement. Zou er zo kunnen wonen.

Het enige wat wij toch misten, hoewel we het vooraf wisten natuurlijk, was iets van een klein balkonnetje of een terrasje. Nu is helemaal geen buitenruimte.
