Good location, clean property with all facilities

The stairs are very steep so need to take care on those.

Great property in an excellent location

Excellent location! Property is much larger than it looks in the photos. Bed is lovely and big and shower was lovely. Has everything you need including parking right nearby which only costs around €2.60 for the day.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the stairs are a challenge. Especially if you need to get up in the night to use the bathroom as the bedroom is the top floor and bathroom is ground floor. However my brother stayed in a property a bit further up the road and the stairs in his place were the same. The bedroom gets very cold at night.

Great house, superb location, but.......

Great little house, well appointed and in a superb location. Within walking distance to popular tourist attractions and restaurants and shops. Within close driving distance to other tourist attractions.

After reading other reviews, I have to agree that the stairs in the property are a bit of a nightmare. Stairs to the first floor are made of marble and have no side to them, just a sheer drop into the kitchen. The stairs to the bedroom are so narrow we had to walk down sideways. Not ideal, especially when getting up at night to use the bathroom, which is on the ground floor. Also the parking is not as straightforward as advertised, I won't go into too much detail but just to say, as a suggestion to the hosts, it may be a good idea to explain what needs to be done re parking, when you send the message the day before with details of how to enter the property.

Dangerous stairs, had 1 child and a pensioner in the party, no pictures of marble open stairs. Bathroom on ground floor so dangerous in the night. Also attic floor extremely hot, fan was no use. Also could of done with mirror to get ready in attic room

Pleasant smaak appartement house in the city center

A quiet street in the city centre and a house with all the amenities that you could wish for. I liked that there were hardly any knick knacks which gives you room for your own stuff. The kitchen is beautiful and the bathroom has a great skylight. The bed is considerable. Wifi works throughout the house. The house may not be suited for elderly persons because of the steep stairs to the bedroom. The bathroom is on the ground floor and the bedroom up 2 floors. I didn’t use the sitting room because I was out working most of the days and only came to the house to sleep.

Great location and lovely facilities for a longer stay in Ieper. Well stocked with items to use. Hosts were very welcoming and prompt with replies, which was very reassuring. We loved it. The stairs are steep, which is shown in the photos, so please consider your needs.

A very nice apartment close to the city center. Well furnished, clean, comfortable and easy parking nearby. Perfect spot for a few days or more in the city. Easy to reach and everything you would see/do in town is within a short walk.

Property is on three floors with steep stairs, beware if you have mobility issues. As far as I could tell the free street parking is only for 2 hours, the parking regulations seem somewhat confusing, changing from street to street, or even on the same street. However 2 Euros per day seems very reasonable if you park in the right place.

Comfortable, Stylish Home

The House was modern, stylish and very clean. Would love to come again. Stairs/steps to living room and roof bedroom very steep, so someone with mobility issues might find it a problem as house is on 3 floors. Great location to the Market Square and Menin Gate straight down the road. Free parking for 2 hrs in front of church 8 am-10 am, but if we wasn't using the car we moved car to Lidl Car park and brought it back when it was free again at 6 pm and also free all day on a Sunday. 10 mins walk to the Bakery & Lidl across the the main road The Cherry Beer is sooo nice and Ypres Burger!

Not really as dislike but felt the marble staircase could do with side panel/rails as its open down one side which could be an issue for some. Fridge has no freezer compartment , well couldn't see one so check before you buy frozen items. Beware of Mozzie's at night if the windows are open.

We liked the space, the bathroom/shower were good, the kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean. The welcome gift was also very nice!

The bedroom was a little sparsely furnished - needs a mirror and somewhere to put the suitcase to unpack. We didn't expect 3 floors - it was OK for us, and maybe we misread the details, but the stairs were very steep and would probably be difficult for some.
