Comfortable,convenient and a very helpful accommodating owner

Ground floor was very useful as one of our travellers struggles with stairs. The apartment was immaculate, clean and warm. The beds were extremely comfortable and plenty of towels. The owner was exceptionally helpful, a genuinely nice person.

A wonderful stay

What a beautiful property. We loved our one night stay. So many thoughtful and beautiful touches. A great location, easy to park and to walk into the centre. Comfy beds, quiet bedrooms, spacious living area, an abundance of towels, drinks available to purchase. Lots of helpful local information. They have thought of everything. Communication was great too. Geert met us, gave us a great tour and was so helpful throughout.

We had a fantastic weekend break.

It was a brilliant location and all facilities were within easy walking distances. There was free parking close to the apartment. The apartment was well appointed with lots of local information.

The apartment was a little dark - one of the disadvantages of being a ground floor flat needing blinds for privacy. The single beds could have been a little more comfortable.

Superb communication & instructions from the owner, 5 min. walk from Ypres centre & suitable parking.

The property was spacious, immaculate and very well presented. It has an excellent, spacious shower in a twin sink bathroom. All facilities were available if we needed to use them (but who cooks on a short break). Beds were immaculate and comfortable Fabulous for what we needed - a clean, spacious property. We replenished the free sweets as our 18 y/o son plundered them all. Felt guilty.

My wife said the her pillow was ‘a bit lumpy’. Hardly a criticism.

Peaceful, centrally located stay in a spotless apartment

The location was perfect, and only a short 5min walk to the main square. Parking was great with parking permit provided for parking outside for 2hrs, or parking 24/7 for free option was provided less than 50m away from the property. The free tea/coffee was a nice touch and the honesty bar charges were reasonable. The apartment was spotlessly clean and if there were any issues, the host was on hand and very responsive both before, during and after the stay.

A well-run accommodation property I would return to.

A very comfortable bed so we slept well. The accommodation was clean, neat and tidy with good-sized rooms and a modern bathroom with a large shower. Overall, it was very suitable accommodation for us. The host was helpful and informative.

I would have liked English Breakfast Tea Bags as a choice rather than a few herbal teas I do not enjoy.

Absolutely outstanding apartment! We stayed here as a family and couldn’t have asked for a better place. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Located in a beautiful area, the apartment was close to everything we needed yet peaceful and quiet at night. Geert was an exceptional host who made sure everything went smoothly for us from start to finish. His communication was clear and timely, and he went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay.

Epic long weekend, staying at a well located, well kept appartment!

Geert met us on arrival and went through everything with us 😊 There was ample free off road parking a short distance (literally a walk across the road). Easy access to Ypres centre with all it has to offer. Couldn’t fault it.

Fabulous apartment in a great location.

Property is well presented, very clean with great facilities, spacious and in a great location. Recommended!

The fridge was filled full with drinks which could be purchased. This would have been ok if it was a separate drinks fridge. Had to empty the drinks out to put our food in. It is a self catering apartment after all. Also there is a supermarket close by with the same drinks at a cheaper price. It felt like the owner was trying to monetise other elements of our stay. It is a minor point and wasn't an issue for us and didn't detract from what is a fabulous apartment. At the end of the stay, we just put all the drinks back into the fridge again.

Perfect place to stay in Ieper

Beautiful apartment with everything you could need for a stay there. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms are really comfortable - even providing bathrobes which is a nice touch. The hosts were super kind and friendly and helped us find a suitable restaurant, parking, walks etc. The property is in a very good location and you can walk along the riverside to the Menim Gate directly from nearby. Tea and coffee are provided and there is also a little minibar too!

This is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it - everything was perfect.

Very little sweets in the jar and not enough tissues by the bed. We also like to leave places tidy, but there was no dust pan and no mop.
