Perfecf!

The host was super friendly and took time to give us advice and show us around the apartment. Hosts had an Excellent knowledge of the area - and lots of information about the area. We had a vulnerable adult with us and the place was perfect!!!

There was nothing not to like about the stay - apart from we wished we could stay longer.

Beautiful apartment in an old converted monastery. Great central location, private parking. Be aware the parking is in the basement with vehicle entry via a car lift. Owners are very pleasant and meet you on arrival.

The only small niggle is there are no mirrors in the bedrooms for getting ready.

Excellent stay in a beautiful, unique apartment.

Very beautiful and comfortable accommodation for a family or 2 couples. We were traveling with a baby and the hosts provided a crib for them to sleep in upon request. Ground floor accommodation, but there is an elevator in the building. We stayed in the summer and despite the unit having no Air Conditioning, because the unit was on the ground floor with tile floors, it was very cool despite the heat outside. Very beautiful building with an interior courtyard. Overall and excellent stay.

Brilliant stay in a beautiful place!

The apartment is so spacious, it has everything you could need! It was also great to have an additional toilet to the main bathroom with a group of 4 of us. It is so close to all the sites, only a 5 minute walk to the museum and 9 minute walk to the Menin Gate. It was so clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The hosts met us on arrival and check out and they were so helpful. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. We hope to be back!

Such a lovely apartment. Very well located. Comfortable beds. Nice and clean. Lovely hosts. Beautifully decorated and easy access for my elderly mother. Quiet at night. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend 👌 also 2 toilets very important

A wonderful two bedroomed ground floor spacious flat in the middle of Ypres(Leper)

The location is just a few minutes walk from the Menin Gate and it is in a beautiful converted monastery. It was spotlessly clean and is exactly as it is in the picture.

The only thing is if you have a large car then it might be tricky parking the car but we managed it with the wonderful help of the owner. There isn’t anything not to like about our stay.

Quirky, very central, a spectacular building. Charlotte kept in contact and made sure we were looked after. Great apartment and very clean. Ypres is a lovely, very interesting and friendly city. Last post ceremony was very moving.

Fantastic property in the heart of Ypres

Part of a fantastic old building in the heart of Ypres and easy walk to the centre facilities. The owners met us on site and showed us where everything was. Very spacious and has everything you need, in our case as a base for WW1 visiting - don’t miss the daily last post at 8pm by Menin gate. There is private parking for an extra 10 euros per day.

Gorgeous apartment- very stylish and comfortable. It had everything you could need for a great stay. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk to the centre, where there are plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants. It was a super base to explore all the WW1 sites. The owners were very friendly.

Stylish and comfortable apartment in excellent central location

The location of this apartment was perfect, right in the centre of Ypres but quiet and peaceful at the same time. The conversion of the former monastery into private apartments has been done very sympathetically. Pilgrim's Loft has an excellent set up to cater for visitors, with all amenities taken care of. The owners were very friendly, helpful and informative

One very small point to note was that there were not really enough pillows for four people.

Relaxing in stunning surroundings (apartment and town square) was exactly what we had hoped for.

Pilgrim's Loft is simply beautiful! The apartment is spacious and very well furnished, and is located in a stunning building - an old monastery. This given the apartment a unique appearance and atmosphere. It is located in the centre of Ypres - perfect for walking to the museums, shops and restaurants and yet at the same time it is quiet and peaceful with no noise from traffic or passers-by. A fantastic bonus is the underground parking which saves all the hassle and worry of paying to park on a street in a town you don't know. I have no reservation in recommending it as I fully intend to go back myself.

There is absolutely nothing that can be criticised about Pilgrim's Loft. The only suggestions that we have is that some travellers might appreciate a washing machine (we didn't need one as we were only staying for a short time but it might be valuable to others). Other than that Pilgrim's Loft is perfect and almost certainly the best place we have stayed. Can't wait to go back.

Everything about this accommodation was incredible. The pictures on Booking seemed too good to be true but the room was exactly as advertised. You essentially have an entire 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with a full kitchen. You also have parking and access to a beautiful courtyard. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They were there to greet us and give us a tour of the apartment and all the information we needed to use the lift to the underground parking below the building. They also provided us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and sparking water. The accommodation is also situated in an old monastery, and that is very much what it looks and feels like (with modern furniture and comforts). This was by far the most beautiful place we stayed in during our trip. Just a general PSA that we didn't know, when you arrive, the entrance to the building is unlocked. You can go inside and press the call button for Pilgram's Loft and the owners will come out and let you in.

Large spacious apartment in easy walking distance (100 m) of town centre. Scrupulously keen, quiet and with all facilities. Safe & Secure underground parking - bonus did not use the car for 2 days. Good local walking distance restaurants and grocery stores. Hope to stay again.

Parking access was ‘tight’ for our Discovery Sport - managed with ‘care’.

Could not fault Pilgrim's Loft in any way. Our hosts met us at the property and showed us through their well appointed and spacious apartment. It was tastefully renovated in a former monastery and perfectly located to explore Ypres and surround.

We were welcomed very kindly and received help where needed. The flat itself has a stunning living room/ kitchen area with a lovely view onto a calm and green yard. The location is excellent as right in the center of town.

It Was Brilliant and the accommodation is amazing.

The hosts met us in the property and where lovely, they showed us around and told us how everything worked and where everything was. The property is a 10 min walk from the Menin gate (max). Its very well situated to the town centre and the bars and restaurants of YPRES. The hosts took a deposit from us in cash 150 euros and they where there to meet us on departure to refund the money. The building is an old monastery and is beautiful as is the apartment we stayed in. The beds where comfortable and the apartment was very clean and very well appointed there is easily enough room for 6 guests. there is also underground parking for 10 Euros / night which was brilliant but be aware the spaces are not that big. I have a BMW x4 and is was a squeeze. We all said we would visit and stay there again.

on arrival, it took a while to find the property, Sat-Nav takes you to the street but its not clear where on the street. The house is No7 which is a very large double door but its not very clear. On departure we asks the hosts if they could put a sign outside. It would be good if the 150 Euro deposit could be taken prior to arrival. and then refunded bay after departure or on departure. to be honest i forgot about the deposit so it was lucky i had taken enough money to pay the deposit.
