the house was very clean, in a beautiful location, views from every (very clean) window. It had comfy beds and pillows (extra pillows available), living room and dining room seating and good laundry (washing and drying) facilities with laundry liquid/powder provided. Bedrooms were of an excellent size. all rooms had views. There were plenty of towels and good showers upstairs. lots of tumbler glasses and mugs. Good Dishwasher (but no d/w tablets) and plenty of fridge / freezer space. Nice outside area with bench
I had to chase for the access arrangements - less than 24 hours before our visit, I still didn't have them. The house needs some care and attention - the cookware was very poor, only 2 wine glasses, and 2 egg cups. for a house that sleeps potentially 12! There were many lights not working - in the kitchen, and all the lights in the living room - until I replaced bulbs and fixed the main light. TV box faulty wiring/connections so very temperamental. Crockery cracked and chipped. Accessible bathroom tiles very slippery and one sharp/dangerous edge on entrance door to roll in shower. Downstairs water system doesn't heat water enough - boiler temp needs increasing. only warm water for showers and washing up.
Difficult to find - address doesn't match up to google. No sign post at top of drive. No "house folder" with essential information. Outside area patio needs attention (weeding)
