Great location, spacious accommodation, comfy beds, excellent communication, snacks & milk left for us, which was a lovely gesture.

A bit noisy Monday night as people were having a karaoke session in the pub and kept coming outside leaving the doors open, this was after 11pm.

Comfortable and quiet

Super spacious with a kitchen/dining area plus a lounge room. It’s showing some signs of wear but everything was very clean. Comfortable and quiet. The restaurant of the same name is a separate business but attached and does decent pub food.

Good value, spacious and good location.

The accommodation was very spacious, the instructions for entry were excellent, and the owner also came round to make sure we were OK. It was a nice touch to be left bottled water, fizzy drinks and snacks. The tv was relatively new, so I could sign into my netflix account. There were some good traditional pubs in the town and it was a good location for travelling to various parts of the Mourne mountains. We would stay again if we visit the area in the future.

The spring mattress seemed a bit old and not of great quality.

Disappointed sadly

Well equipped self catering apartment and spacious

Party in the function room was pumping music into the courtyard until 1am. I’m not against the partying, all for folk enjoying themselves…..my issue is not being made aware of this fact so I could’ve opted to go elsewhere. I was up at 5:30am for travel reasons, spoilt my onward journey.

One of the best!

An excellent apartment. Lounge, kitchen and dining area downstairs, with one large bedroom and sizeable bathroom upstairs. All the necessary cutlery, crockery, utensils were there with easily to follow instructions for the kitchen equipment and boiler. We only had the one night, but this would be a great base for touring the region. The bathroom had bath and shower (which was excellent) and a lot of space. It's self-catering but the local Spar 100 metres away has just about anything you'd need. Highly recommended.

It was a bonus to find milk, tea, coffee and snacks provided in the kitchen, as we arrived late in the evening. There were also toiletries for guests' use in the spotlessly clean bathroom.

Enjoyable but could have been so much better !

The apartment was spacious, warm, well equipped & very convenient for getting up into the Mountains of Mourne.

Lack of private/quiet outdoor space. There is no segregation in the courtyard between apartment & Hotel , our first day being Sunday unfortunately seemed to clash with a major religious event when the hotel/pub was packed but many parents didn't supervise their children who used the courtyard as a playground shouting & bouncing balls off our windows ! A more positive proactive approach in dealing with this problem would have been appreciated! Also unfortunately we were not made aware that the hotel bar & restaurant would be closed for 3 out of the 4 days of our stay, as were other dining venues in the town, not good for tourism ! Perhaps the lack of a private amenity space could be addressed by creating a direct access onto the large lawn between the apartment & carpark or by a balcony overlooking it ?
