Hidden Gem!

It was such a pleasure staying at your rental accommodation for the night, and we appreciate the experience. We were immediately struck by how exceptionally clean the entire place was, making us feel comfortable from the start. The cozy atmosphere provided a welcoming and relaxing environment, perfect for our family of five. Furthermore, the thoughtful details throughout the space truly enhanced our stay. We would gladly recommend this accommodation to others looking for a pleasant experience. P.s loved the pool table, multiple tvs, the view & amenaties in the kitchen.

Only thing i would have to say in a negative manner would be that the water pressure from the shower isn't very strong but it really isn't bad either.

Great stay for Mourne mountains

Relaxing... great price.... quite.... perfect for families

We had the best time... it was perfect so quiet, easy to get to and the pool table was a brilliant touch especially for my older son... the place looked new it was that clean... we couldn't fault anything... would recommend it

The property was excellent, very clean, had all essential items required for self catering if desired. Location and views were superb.

We plan to stay here again

We loved how spacious it was and how there were so many comfortable places to sit and relax. It was very clean, and though there was only a floor fan for air circulation, it was barely needed. We came in the middle of summer, and it was just fine with all the windows open. The coffee table had a basket full of maps and brochures of things to do and places to eat, and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we needed. I wish we had stayed several more days.

The washing machine wasn't close enough to an outlet, so we needed to call our host for an extension. But this turned out to be very positive. We got a chance to meet the host and her husband. They were very welcoming and gracious.

Great stop over location.

The apartment has private access. Beds are comfortable. Wifi is excellent. The pool table is great. Smart tv in living room area working well. Another tv in kitchen area. The house is in a rural setting, so not much around it, but there are a couple of pubs within a few mins drive and a small shop 5 mins away. Bathroom is spotless and a nice spacious shower. Very useful stopping point for us on way to Portaferry ferry. would be a great location if you a hill walker. We stopped there and visitd the local maze which the kids enjoyed.

A wonderfully clean and comfortable place to stay, well placed for walking in the the Mourne Mountains. Even though it is the top floor of a house it is very private. Communication with the owner was excellent.

A beautiful little loft, warm and cozy on the worst night weather wise. Very clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfy and the facilities were great .

Beautiful countryside apartment offers sweet and clean charm.

This may be the nicest place I have ever stayed. Everything was absolutely beautiful and supremely comfortable; I wish I'd been able to stay for longer. The kitchen was lovely, the beds were really comfy, there was a lot of space, and the hosts were very respectful of privacy. There was a stunning view of the countryside from the windows, and looking out the back and sides, you could sometimes see the chickens, cats, and sheep that sprinkle the area! Extremely charming.

Didn't bother me at all, but just to make people aware in case it's a thing that bothers them - the rooster crows early in the morning, so if that's something that would wake you up when you'd rather sleep, the place might not be for you. I hope you're not bothered by it, though, because you deserve to stay in a place this lovely.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful home.

A beautiful and private loft with all the amenities you could ask for. We’ve stayed in a fair few places but this one is right at the top. Very spacious. Well lit, lots of natural light. The pool table is an amazing addition. Neither of us had really played before. But we got hooked on it pretty quickly.

Perfect location for a bit of sight seeing.

Great location for a look around the Mournes and a short trip from Newry or Belfast. Very quiet rural part of Co.Down which we loved. The apartment occupies the loft of a family home and it is well equipped to deal with the needs of four people. Spotlessly clean, neat and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Exceptional

It's difficult to start and finish with how fantastic this place really is. I travelled alone for work and was amazed at the size and view as a starter. Incredible mountain view! The hosts were in contact with me from when I booked that morning until I arrived and even brought me extra milk and checked on me whilst I was there. The value for money was fantastic, easy access, great parking and amazing hosts. Will 100% be staying again on my next visit as I have a friend in the local town!!

I liked the convenience of picking up the keys from the lockbox. The house is beautiful and spacious. A little out of the way but beautiful surroundings. You need a car.. Great value. Very private.

A little remote, not a lot of services in the immediate area. The nearest grocery store is in a nearby village. Ok, just not super convenient.

Peaceful, funfilled trip with incredible accommodation

The location was ideal for trips to Newcastle, local takeaways and sightseeing. The pool table was a great addition which added so much fun to the trip. The beds were homely and cosy so everyone was definitely well rested. Everything was perfect.

Idéal pour un long séjour

On a passé un excellent séjour, la maison est dans la région des Mourne mountains donc un bon emplacement pour randonner dans la région. Nous avons une grande chambre avec 1 lit double et 2 lits simples, la literie est excellente, la salle de bain est très bien agencée, et il y a même un coin salon avec canapés et télévision. La cuisine (qui se trouve dans une autre pièce) est très grande et très bien équipée, il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner. Vraiment une adresse que nous garderons pour revenir visiter la région.
