Beautifully appointed, well equipped, excellent location for our walking holiday but still close enough to Newcastle and its facilities. Private parking just outside the door.

It was a lovely spacious property for our family.

Peaceful, plenty of exercise and stunning scenery!!! Great for body, mind and soul.

Location was perfect as your in the peace and quiet but only 5mins drive into Newcastle town. Plus barn is situated on a horse equestrian, so we got to see some gorgeous horses.

Super easy… keys in a convenient location on arrival. Beautiful location only twenty minute walk into Newcastle. Everything is so homely about The Barn. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Beautiful place to stay. Can't go outdoors with kids as it's on a working farm but the barn itself is beautiful and has plenty of space and only a five min drive into Newcastle and there's plenty to do there to occupy the kids. Host was lovely. House was clean and cosey.

A bed in the 3rd bedroom would be much btr than a pull out sofa as there's plenty of space for one. The pull out sofa isn't very comfy, that was my only fault with the place

Perfect location, lovely host, affordable

Beautiful place, perfect location. We absolutely lovedddd our stay. My parents went with us - along with myself, my partner & my son. There were 2 bedrooms down stairs and 1 bedroom upstairs, this was absolutely amazing for us. It gave us our space so our son didn’t disturb my parents sleep in the morning as they stayed up stairs and we used the 2 down stair bedrooms. The kitchen was beautiful, top of the range appliances. Comfortable, spacious and extremely cosy. My son is obsessed with animals and had a good view of the horse. The view of the mountain is superb. It’s in the perfect location, it’s close to the town maybe a 3-4 minute drive - but just far enough that you are away from the hustle and bustle. I would 100% recommend this place. We where allowed a late check out which we appreciated so much - we arrived a little late on the Friday meaning we missed a large part of the day, but the late check out allowed us to enjoy a good portion of our last day before we packed up to head on. Thank you!

The barn is in a good location, just a short walk into town and convenient access to the Mourne Mountains for walking. The accommodation is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and we really felt at home.

Cost, clean, perfect.

Location excellent for Newcastle and Tollymore Forest. Clean and comfortable beds. Easy to find and handy having a 'mud room' entrance to leave the dirty boots. Warm and cozy place. Good communication with owner.

The eco shower had no difference in power over three settings so we're left with a weak trickle and it was hard and time consuming to rinse long hair.
