Ideal cozy, clean and well-stocked stop over for a family or small group visiting the Mournes.

Great location in a very comfortable home.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Kilbroney Rest. It was super clean and well equipped and very well located in a beautiful, scenic area. Francis brought some raspberries which he'd picked for us, which were delicious and his thoughtfulness was much appreciated. Thank you Francis.

We strongly recommend Kilbroney Rest. Francis is a fabulous host. The house is clean and tidy. The location is great with a lot of walkable amenities, we recommend the Narnia park nearby.

It was convenient for our purposes

The location was very good for us and we had a pleasant stay.

As we were on the elderly side having the bathroom downstairs was a bit of a surprise on our arrival and the stairs were steep enough.

Fabulous location - the house was spotless - people in Rostrevor so very friendly

Great location. Comfy house. Kind hosts.

Such a great location! The house was so lovely and the host was brilliant at communicating. I felt the host actually went the extra mile and noticed I was bringing a little one. He brought over a cot for her which was brilliant. There were nice touches, like the coffee, teas, hot chocolates and snacks - we really enjoyed those! We slept so well and had peaceful evenings at the house. There are some gorgeous walks around and shops easy to reach. The beach is so close! I hope to stay again soon. Thank you.

The perfect location!

The location was perfect as it was only a short walk to the Square where all the shops and pubs are located. Kilbroney park is only a further 3 minutes walk from here so there is no need to take the car. The house itself was really cosy and had everything we needed for our short stay. We will definitely be staying again.

Very clean house with everything we needed for a few days away with our children to visit family. Very well equipped house and Francis was so lovely and welcoming.

The sofa and chairs weren't very comfortable and the decor could do with a freshen up.

Brilliant house but not the neighbours!

The house is lovely and clean and has everything you need for your stay.

We were kept awake on the Saturday night until 4am in the morning by the next door neighbours who were making that much noise that I actually thought someone had broken in and was in kitchen. They also seemed to ignore their squealing child who was obviously kept awake by the noise level. This really ruined our stay and we left before check out time because we wanted to get home and get some sleep. We have stayed in Kilborney Rest before and loved it but this has really put us off booking it again.

Fantastic

We were blow away by Rostrevor, it is a beautiful place. The only thing that upset me abit was on the morning of our departure. We were having our breakfast and the owner arrived at 0950 to clean the house. My email had said check out was at 11am He sat outside waiting. We felt we couldn't finish our breakfast so we left. Otherwise the house was great.

Very clean home and really central to everything, house is in a quiet culture -de- sac and all you need for a stay in beautiful Rostrevor, hosts are lovely and informative, will definitely be back.

Lovely House

The house had everything you need, kitchen really well supplied. Can text host if any issues during stay. We had a 1 year old with us and they let us use travel cot, high chair and child gate which was brilliant. Short walk to bars in Rostrevor and easy drive to Warrenpoint or Cranfield beach.

Our weekend stay at the Kilbroney Rest was very pleasant. The owner met us and kindly showed us around the property. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen and living area very well equipped. We had everything we needed and there was even milk for a cup of tea if you forgot to bring some. I would recommend this place to anyone who wanted a very comfortable and convenient location in Rostrevor. Thank you.

Mountain biking weekend.

Its good. It is a scrupulously clean and comfortable base to stay which is right in the town and near the trails. I’d definitely stay there again.
