We had been let down by another property on the day and this left us stranded at 20:00. I booked with these guys at no notice and they turned it around with no problem whatsoever. The cottage is comfortable and plenty big enough for 3 people. Facilities all good too! Plenty of channels on the tv too! We will be staying here again if I need to travel for work.
Nothing to dislike, we had a little issue with the internet at times but a reboot of the router seemed to fix it.

Space was amazing. It had everything that you could need. It was clean and tidy and had a homely touch. There was a beautiful outside area we didn’t get to use.

The cottage is perfectly placed for beautiful views and convienece to town (if you drive im not sure about pt) its is a wonderful space with all the amenities and facilities you could need.

The house itself is described as luxurious. It has a shower in each bedroom with the exception of one. One has a bath with hand held shower . I brought my elderly parents with me as this is a great time to spend together and have used many other homes for this experience. The home does have underfloor heating in parts. It has real wooden floors which squeeked and moved especially where the heating was and solid wood furnishings. The beds are warm and comfortable and the home was dust free and clean. The living room/dining area is all in one making it an open feel but was still small. It is at top of an elevated hill and that is shown in the pictures, but the pictures don't do this hill justice. It is the side of a mountain and is steep. It has cooking facilities, plates, pots, pans etc.
What it lacked - the beds were very low. My elderly parents struggled with this. The TV is not Internet ready so my dad could not watch his programmes on his dongle. The Internet was extremely poor. More often not connecting to anything. I did send an email to the owners asking for help and I received a phone number to contact Pat. I had already sent a message to the mobile. Number and said he was welcome to call anytime. No call ever came. Maybe the Internet connection was that poor he didn't receive it. The home lacked things like liquid to wash dishes or use the dishwasher. Not even a drop of milk to welcome guests. All said if you are looking for a clean home away from civilisation and Internet this is the place for you. For me this was 4 days that i struggled with. We left a day early it was that bad. I can only compare this home to other homes that I have stayed in and because of this I would say this is not value for money. It is dated and needs modernisation. With a bit of love and thought for guests it could be a great get away. A welcome hamper and little home comforts go a long way.
