The Retreat

Best accommodation I've ever stayed in. The whole place is beautiful. It's like staying in someone's loved home. So many welcome touches like milk and bread, coffee, biscuits etc. Felt so welcome. I can't wait to come back. For the beds alone.

Lovely property perfect for a girls night away. Beautifully decorated and so close to town centre

Great location, exceptional host, great communication and she's thought of everything at the property - a real comfortable home from home equipped with everything you could want. A lovely touch leaving milk, bread and fresh oranges and fruit to squeeze for morning glass of juice. Coffee, tea, sugar, cereal, pasta plus loads of condiments.

There was nothing not to like!

Self catering

For the price the cleanliness should have been better. There was a feeling of staying in someone's home as there were so many personal items. The washing machine was full of laundry. The property is cute and quaint but for the price needs to come up a level in terms of cleanliness, finish (bath sealing very poor). Appliances are old, the fridge needs replaced. The outside area is pretty but needs cleaned and plants cut back. We would not stay at this price point. On the positive side, the beds were clean and comfortable and the location is excellent.
