Nice large well equipped apt in center of Kilkeel with friendly owners

It's a large 4 bedroom apartment based on an old original house in the centre of Kilkeel with plenty of shops etc nearby. The apt is well furnished with comfortable beds, multiple bathrooms and a cosy living area and was very clean. Parking is available at the back and Mervyn was very easy and friendly to deal with. Kilkeel while more a residential or market town is a very useful base for exploring the Mournes

It's an older property so naturally not as warm or efficient as newer buildings. When the heat need is left on in the winter timeframe the house is warm

Great place, very comfortable and clean, and the little extras like tea/coffee, milk etc were a lovely touch. Very central so great to go for a walk around the town, and the parking at the back was very handy.

Perfect Property in a Great Location

From the minute we arrived, we were very pleased with the property. Its a large 4 bed (all good double rooms). Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. A nice kitchen and a lovely sitting room with an open fire, which is perfect in the winter months. There are three generous bathrooms and plenty of parking space. Its in a great location with plenty of shops and amenities very close by. Nice walks and easy access to mountains and coast where the scenery is just beautiful. Lots of places to eat within easy reach and plenty more in both Warrenpoint and Newry which are approximately 20 and 30 minutes drive. We will definitely be booking again. And we want to thank Mervyn for being a perfect host, thank you so much.

Kilkeel break.

Everything. It was very clean and had everything there that was needed. The beds were very very comfortable. Great Central location. The host met us and was really friendly and welcoming and even left us a little gift to settle in. I would most certainly return here and would highly recommend the apartment.

The weather was so good, and we had kids so we would have loved somewhere to sit outside, although there is great space for parking. But the apartment itself was brilliant inside- perfect!

Spacious apartment in Kilkeel.

Ideal for our family group. Very cosy. We lit the fire every evening and played board games. Enjoyed the snow in the mournes during the day. Fantastic off sales just across the road and plenty of free parking. Thanks very much to our host Mervyn.
