lovely house with a great fire !

clean and tidy

it was great - maybe some extra towels as for 8 people we only had 7 and they weren’t massive - I just like a big one - but they were clean and organised - not something that would put me off at all.

Great cottage, clean, warm, & friendly. Highly recommend!

Location was great, lovely and quiet. The cottage itself is exceptionally furnished and very clean. Francis was a great host and brought us an additional back of wood for the wood fire. Hot tub was awesome, and general facilities all around the cottage were great and modern. Would love to come back in summer and tak advantage of the outdoor seating and bbq facilities.

Genuinely nothing I didnt like about the trip. At a stretch you could say the wifi was a bit slow, but it still worked and did the job. And we were away on a break without much need to use it.

Fabulous, spacious cottage with comfortable rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Beautiful location and hosts were super accommodating, being flexible about check out and allowing us to enjoy the end of our weekend. Perfect for a family stay.

The most relaxing little get away!

This place is the perfect little get away from life! We stayed for 2 nights with 2 adults and 5 children ranging from 11 years to 2 years old and every one of us had a brilliant time. The views and surroundings are so peaceful, the house itself was immaculate and felt homely as soon as we walked in the door. The beds are extremely comfortable and we were sent details before we arrived on how to use certain things around the property such as WiFi, bbq and the hot tub. Overall I would highly recommend!

Very comfy, and close to town and local amenities

Location and facilities were brilliant - 5* accommodation. We were there as a group and we had the best time, very helpful hosts, nothing was any bother. Will definitely be back and also recommend for others. Thanks again

We loved our stay!

Location was great to explore the Kingdom of the Mournes. Far enough out but close enough to nearby Hilltown for shops to pick up what was needed and we ate in Minny Doyles 1 of the nights. Cottage had everything we needed we particularly enjoyed the hot tub!

No microwave but it didn't hinder our stay!

A wonderful cottage for a family birthday celebration.

Beautiful setting. Calm and peaceful. Cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Owners were lovely, friendly and so helpful. They even invited our little grandson to come and help feed their sheep- he was delighted!

Beautiful traditional style cottage but with all mod cons. Outside bbq area and hot tub an added bonus. Only a mile outside Hilltown for supplies and lunch / pubs. In the heart of the Mournes so great for hiking/ walking.

A lovely property in quiet surroundings. Decent sized rooms with plenty living space. Outside patio & hot tub provide perfect relaxation. We stayed whilst on business and the property offered everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect for touring The Mournes and County Down

Excellent location for visiting the Mourne Mountains and County Down and perfect for our cycling trip. Good secure storage for our bikes, plenty of parking. High standard of decor, clean and spacious cottage and lovely views. Comfortable beds. Really quiet and dark at night which was lovely.

Expected a microwave and finishing touches like some toiletries instead of just one liquid soap in the cottage, more oven trays, scissors. No hairdryer but Francis did bring one down when I asked for one. Instructions for oven, heating and hot tub would have been helpful.

Perfect family cottage

Cottage was idyllic, so much space and Frank was very helpful. Everything we needed including logs for the stove, WiFi and bread & milk for us. Will be back during the summer for sure!
