First experience in the pod.

I like the location it's so peaceful and quiet in the farm. It values privacy and good access to the carpark. Valuable information are available on the walls in the kitchen. 13mins drive to Newcastle and other tourist attractions sites.

The toilets are too cold to use in the day/night. No hot water in the toilets tap. The location of the bathroom and kitchen is convenient during the day but inconvenient when using it in the night. Valuable information aren't available in the pod rooms.

Switch off from reality, back to nature with the view of the mournes

The owner was very welcoming when we arrived. Great communication and feel like he would do anything for us. The cabin had a great view of the mournes. We lit a fire sat in the chairs and listened to the sound f the nature, it was peaceful and away from reality. The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. There was a sign in the cabin “we don’t have WiFi , talk to each other like it’s 1995” and that’s how our night was. We got to appreciate each others company.

Highly recommend it to anyone trying to get away from it all and be in pristine surroundings.

We were warmly welcomed by Neill on arrival. We stayed two nights and the setting and scenery was amazing. The location is at the foot of the Mourne Mountains with plenty of hiking options. The pod was very comfy and the showers were spotless and worked a treat.

Excellent place to stay

The views and the unique experience of the pod. The kitchen, toilets and showers were a 30 second walk away. Everything you need in the kitchen was there in the way of cooker, pots, pans etc. We cooked, it was great. Neil, our host was helpful and friendly. Quiet and peaceful. Theres a dridge to put your milk, beers etc in.

The bed was on the small side for me (I'm 6ft 4). You need to be under 6 foot.

A hidden gem only 90 minutes from Dublin

The pods are set looking at the Morne mountains giving a beautiful backdrop to breakfast or dinner. The facilities are excellent with very clean toilets, showers and a shared kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a lot of rain during our visit but this didn't dampen our enthusiasm.

Glamping with a view

The setting is beautiful and very central for hiking in the mournes. The garden areas are very well kept and pleasant to sit in. The pod itself is spotless and comfortable. The outdoor area with the fire pit is great also. The kitchen area is great with your own space in the fridge and cupboards. The shower area and toilets are clean and well kept. The whole glamping experience was fantastic and we will absolutely be staying again. Amazing value for money.

A Giant Mourne Adventure

We loved the location, scenery and the views immediately. Sitting outside at night watching the stars from our own little porch with a fire was a great end to the day. Our host Neil, was very lovely, welcoming and helpful from the start & throughout. The pods are compact and well put together, with only a short walk over to the kitchen, WC & shower facilities. All of these were fit for purpose, clean & spacious. We loved every minute of our stay!

Comfortable pods with excellent views and amenities

The welcome and amenities were excellent. Had no idea it was a functioning farm - the chickens and donkeys were a real bonus. Very comfortable bed and peaceful environment to relax. The showers were the perfect temperature and the heater in the room did its job very well.

Longer stay, unfortunately our booking was las minute. Otherwise we would have stayed all weekend
