We enjoyed the tranquility after a hectic Xmas just what we needed to unwind. The surrounding scenery was beautiful. It broke our journey between Southern Ireland and Belfast docks. The friendly host greeted us and told us everything about the facility. Would highly recommend.

There was no breakfast
The WiFi wasn't working which meant that my and my partners phones weren't working and the TV wasn't working, the landlady sent me a friendly e mail before we arrived explaining that we could WhatsApp her with any issues, but, of course, no WiFi, no WhatsApp. The annexe itself was lovely, warm, comfortable, luxurious, but unfortunately in the modern world, no WiFi equals all sorts of problems

Spacious bedroom and living space with fully equipped kitchen. Handy for the beautiful mountains and yet near a main road.

Such a wonderful stay everything you need here to enjoy your time and relax and such a lovely host is Sharon and meeting her lovely dog Roscoe. In beautiful countryside and only 10 minute drive into Newcastle. I loved every minute of staying here was perfect, home from home, and I cannot wait to return. Thank you so much Sharon and Roscoe ♥️♥️

Very clean. Has everything you need. Friendly host. Great location
Tight squeeze in the bedroom for more than 2 guests but the couch in the living room is spacious and the host offered extra bed linen for it.

The location was perfect for our plans. Hiking the mourne mountains. Peaceful & quiet. Our lovely host was so accommodating & friendly & Rosco the dog made our stay extra Special, so friendly. . Our accommodation was cosy & comfortable, spotlessly clean & in a perfect country setting. Highly recommend Sharon's place for friendliness, comfort & location.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't great in the evening 😕 but..Sharon supplied a few birthday bevvies for my Hubby & we ordered takeaway as the nearest pub/restaurant is 5miles away. Not far I know but due to the rain we didn't really want to go out even though Sharon offered to drive us.

Sharon is just such a lovely lady. She welcomed us into the house and set us up in the annex and gave us some recommendations for places to visit around the area. The place itself is spotless and has everything you need, everything was working perfectly and it was extremely cosy and comfortable. It is close to a main road but the noise isn't too bad. It is around a 10 minute drive away from castlewellan so it is a nice city break. I have no complaints at all! Being greeted by Rosco the staffie was also a big bonus! Thank you so much for a lovely stay! We'll definitely come back soon!

Very comfortable and had everything that we needed. There is a fire stick on the TV so my daughter was over the moon about the choice of movies. There's also a dvd player and some DVD's. It was really well heated, you could turn it off or on depending on what you like. It's nicely decorated. There is a door on the bathroom and all the blinds close. It's beautifully decorated. I had a lovely restful stay with my daughter. It's close to castlewellan for restaurants or takeaway or there's a fully equipped kitchen. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. There's also a bar restaurant just round the corner and local shop for groceries
Nothing.

Nothing .
Didn't like where it was on a corner of main road ,When we entered we didn't know exactly where to go ,it had a very bad smell .My husband opened a door to be greeted by a dog which I have allergies to which did not state .No normal TV ,could not get a signal from our phones ,even to ring a restaurant ,I rang the host which was a terrible connection .Floor had stains on it cooker greasy ,i had to spray the living room as I couldn't sit in otherwise .As for the bedroom we did not want to get into the bed ,the duvet cover was thick wool of some sort which is a hygiene issue to me slept in our clothes .We where actually thinking of going home ,we felt that bad .

Very warm welcome from the host and pup when we arrived. The house was comfortable and it was handy for the local restaurant which serves excellent food.
Disappointed that the photos in the advert were at least a mile down the road.

Cosy, comfortable, homely place. Had everything we needed.
Parking was limited as we had 2 large work vehicles but we were able to park at the garage next door which worked out fine.

Amazing location, very remote which was our aim. We enjoyed comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. All the instructions were available and easy to understand. Annexe was very clean and location just beautiful.
Some people might struggle with poor mobile network coverage, if you need to be on the phone all the time..but wifi works great inside the property.
