The Lodge is very well appointed (inside and out), and the immediate location is both picturesque and close to local amenities. It also benefits from a position that is close to the famous Mourne Mountains, yet it is also within easy reach of Hillsborough, Lisburn, Belfast and many, many attractions.
The eggs provided by the host were a nice touch, and went well with a Soda Farl. The Lodge is spacious and that makes it perfect for relaxing after a busy day out.

This is a stunning location for a peaceful retreat. The views from the property itself are wonderful. The property is cosy, without being small, and felt like a home from home.
I think that everybody who visited the property overshot the entrance as it's hidden behind the gateway to another house. It might help to have a sign on the road pointing to the entrance :)
