We had alovely stay and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Excellent location. Lovely property. Very clean and tidy. Well equipped- even milk and orange juice in the fridge! Heating was also set to come on in the morning and evening so very comfortable. Simon was a great host- always responded to messages promptly.

We had my mum with us- she is 85yrs old and although fairly fit she said she would have felt safer if there had been a handrail in the shower. The staircase also had quite narrow steps for someone more elderly. No allocated parking - however we always managed to get a space on the street outside or very near the house so we did not find this an issue.

The house is located centrally in the City of Bangor. It was comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed excellent value. Simon's communication was quick explaining everything.

Bangor stay

Very convenient location and within walking distance of the marina and high street. The house was clean and had all the facilities we needed. We had a lovely stay. Simon the owner very helpful and answered any enquiries straight away.

Parking outside the house could be an issue for some. You could not guarantee getting a space when you returned after going out. Sometimes had to park further away but always managed to get a space somewhere albeit not outside the house.

Couldn't fault it

The house was perfectly equipped for all our needs and the location couldn't be better (2 mins from the train station). Simon was very accommodating with flexing our check-in time, saving us having to sleepily wander around after an early flight in. All in all top experience, thank you!

House was like a perfect home from home, with every consideration for our stay.

House was like a perfect home from home, with every consideration for our stay. We happened to turn up at the station just before an earlier train was due, so took the chance of jumping on. This meant we were a little earlier arriving at the house and were quite prepared to just go head on for breakfast if Simon wasn't there yet. Lovely surprise (for us, possibly not for the host) was he was unexpectedly there and just finishing watering plants. Simon was very gracious and made us feel welcome, showing us where the key needed to but left on us leaving. As well as giving a quick run through of how the heating worked. There were lovely touches throughout like milk, orange juice, butter, tea, coffee, cereals & pasta/sauces that were left for our use if needed. Very relaxing garden & external dinning area that was ideal for the great weather... plus the added bonus of a games shed, complete with air hockey table & small toys (even a small plastic slide down the back) for smaller kids. I wasn't great at the air hockey, but put that down to us not being able to work out how to turn the air system on for it :D Excellent location too, less than 5 minutes for the train/bus station, high street and about 15 minutes away from the marina, Bangor Castle gardens & museum. Definitiely first place we will look at to stay if we make a return trip to Bangor or surrounding areas.

Perfect place in Bangor

Perfect location, with only 5 minutes walk to the train station and about the same to the harbour. Suited all the family group with an age range from 25 to 78. Facilities were perfect enabling us to host local family and friend in the evening. The host answered all questions promptly prior to the stay.

The property is well equipped, there was nothing more that we needed to enjoy our stay. Beds were comfortable. The area is quiet and plenty of parking.

Perfect location, within walking distance to all local amenities. Pet friendly was a massive hit for us. Our daughter was competing in the Ulster LC in Bangor Aquatic Centre, so this property was ideal for us. We loved the local Ava Bistro, pet friendly too,

Thought the property was very homely and comfortable. Glad the TV was simple to use not loads of remotes.

I think the owner needs to consider a light over the front door. Steps are painted black and edges hard to spot. He could temporarily paint an edge white. We left the hall light on so it was no big deal.

It had everything we required, it was clean and gave good instructions on how to operate appliances. Also close to shops.

Its not a negative, but for future bookings and a health and safety aspect, I would add or offer a shower matt, as the shower tray could become slippy when using soaps or shower gels. May become a possible hazard if someone is not aware.

This house was so convenient to all the amenities, to the coastal paths to the marina, it was in a great location not even far from the train station. It was well equipped and the kitchen was super sleek. It was safe for the dog as there was an enclosed garden. Really comfy house.

A cosy, tidy, friendly house in a signature location to sample the delights of central Bangor!

Perfectly located for quick access to the pubs, restaurants and seafront in Bangor. We ate, drank and walked with local friends on several occasions, so it suited them very well too for us to be based here. The house is small (cosy in fact!) though quite big enough for 4 adults utilising the three bedrooms upstairs. It is well presented with everything you need including fast wi-fi and DAB radio. The modern, wood-effect floorboards throughout the ground floor made it feel very neat and up to date. The seating in the lounge is comfortable and the TV of a good size. There is a good-size kitchen with everything you need, including supplies of milk and juice on arrival which were most welcome. There is a well presented modern bathroom and toilet upstairs; the shower was large and effective! The house keeps nicely warm thanks to an efficient boiler which is set to come on 4 times in 24 hours automatically.

There was no downstairs toilet; this did not matter to us, but it might to guests with small children or to the infirm not wishing to go upstairs in the daytime. I would say the double mattresses in the two larger bedroom would benefit from being firmer, when the time comes to invest in replacements. We struggled to master the heating/hot-water controls but in the end it did not matter since the automatic settings served us fine. But I might suggest that the morning burst of central heating be set to come on a little later - I think it was kicking in at about 5 AM.
