Cosy, comfortable and convenient.

A good location and very comfortable tidy space with adequate privacy and a lot of the basics right plus nice touches.

Just one main thing. It was quite an effort to get the toilet to flush while we stayed. The host advised that a plumber is due so hopefully that will be resolved for the next guests.

lovely house

The house was very comfortable with plenty' of room. we were there at Christmas and Alan had put decorations up including a small 🌲 which we were delighted with! He also left loads of goodies, there were plenty of towels, hot water and other basic essentials.

There was nothing I didn't like, as such. it's a great house. The location is about a 12 minutes walk and if you don't mind walking to the centre or have a car, the location is fine. There is a supermarket only 5 minutes walk and a takeaway chipper, also very close.

Alan had left us a personal message on a board with instructions on the heating and a basket of snacks. The house was very well equipped, warm, comfortable and in a quiet location. There was milk, tea, coffee and toiletries. We all commented how comfy the beds were!

A great wee airbnb!

It's a lovely, comfortable, and warm house in a quiet location. Parking was good. Close to amenities, especially a great fish and chip shop! A 5 minute drive down to the main road. The owner had thought of everything and even supplied some tea, coffee, and milk and some lovely treats, which was a caring touch. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was great! There were books and games to choose from and TV and radio. Also, there are plenty of leaflets to find out about the local area.

I have no complaints. There is nothing that I can fault with it.

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

We felt at home from the very first moment. The host is very pleasant and responsive, and he truly puts effort into making every stay special. We really enjoyed our time here. When my son forgot his favourite jacket, the host kindly delivered it to us in another town. We’re truly grateful for his kindness and hope to come back one day.

Very comfortable. Excellent location near Belfast and other attractions. The owner allowed us in early, which was a great help, having arrived in Belfast on the ferry from Liverpool at 0630!

The house was spotless, and the location was very quiet. Everything we needed was there, and the owner left a goodie bag for us, milk, snacks etc.

Perfect seaside getaway with perfect accommodation

Location close to all amenities, we could walk down to marina and restaurants/shops with my 7 and 8 year old kids in comfort footpaths all the way. local community is very friendly, all information on arrival with books of the local area and leaflets. if you dont want to walk to marina then there is a chippy/chinese/off licence and petrol station/Deli/Supermarket less then 5 minute walk. House was lovely and felt private even though in a busy area, everything we needed in the house, very clean and organised like someone actually lives there. 10 out of 10 for all, would not mind going back there is all you need for you and the family and the dog for a few days to get away.

Perfect stay not far from Belfast, home from home!

It was a home away from home! It had everything we needed for a family of four. Enough room for us to be together or have space from one another. Very comfortable, the kids loved it too!

Couldn't fault the apartment! It was spotless, super comfortable and cosy.

Obviously it's no fault of the host but the location is a little bit out of the town - about a 20 minute walk or so.

Great location for sightseeing Northern Ireland

Beckers Place is like a home from home. It was very comfortable for our short stay. The little touches like a personalised note, treat basket and milk in the fridge were really lovely when we arrived. Our 4 year old daughter loved her room.

A gem of a place!

A beautifully appointed and decorated home and it is evident that the owner has thought of everything a guest may need. From the treats, to coffee pods, to clothes washing liquid and clothes pegs, to extra pillows, this is one comfortable and lovely place to stay. We were so happy to have made this our choice for Carrickfergus (rather than nearby Belfast) as our overnight stay.

Like home away from home. The best part - walled USB ports just like what I have in my own house! I'm impressed! Looks like the owner is very digitally educated and is ready for "younger" people although I'm nearing 70 but not over the hill with technology!

Perhaps Booking.com could inform us of change of pin code before travel as sometimes the data network fails, which it did and there is no Internet on the ferry. Luckily between three of us, we had different network to work on. Also not everyone has roaming data.

Highly recommend!

100% Recommend staying here. It was a perfect location for our needs. A short drive into town. The apartment is exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. Downstairs is a living room with good seating, dining room, kitchen with washing machine and an adorable patio/ solarium. Kitchen is stocked well and the owner left a personalized note welcoming us and some treats. Even milk and juice. A nice touch. Wi Fi worked well and good shower. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you for a welcoming stay.

Tipica casa inglese, pulitissima e arredata con amore, il libro con le favole della buona appoggiato sul cuscino del letto dei bambini mi ha riscaldato il cuore! La casa è accessoriata di tutto l’occorrente dal latte, le marmellate e il burro in frigo, agli snack sotto un messaggio di benvenuto (in bagno ci sono persino gli assorbenti igienici). Il rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente. Grazie Alan è stato davvero come essere a casa!
