Ideal Location for Hilton Park House

Great location for my friend's wedding at Hilton Park House. Lovely room, with some breakfast options and standard essentials. Host was friendly and welcoming. Good amenities.

Check in process was unclear, and couldn't immediately find the host on arrival. There was a lot of noise coming from the room above in the evening and early in the morning - it sounded like lots of moving furniture and running across the room - which was very disruptive when trying to sleep.

We liked the privacy, the fact that the rooom had a fridge and that the premises is dog friendly.

It was a very private accommodation and it was dog-friendly. Also we liked the breakfast that was included in our room, cereals, a small fridge with milk and yogurts, and lots of fruit. This was a very innovative idea. The hostess was also very friendly and we just had to message her if we needed anything. She also gave us a lot of ideas about places to visit for food, walks and sight-seeing.

Two small comfy chairs would greatly add to the overall comfort of the room.

Lovely quiet location overlooking golf course. Room and en-suite very clean, airy and bright with plenty of room. Bed comfortable. Nice continental breakfast left in room with bottled water and fresh milk in fridge in room. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating.

Comfortable and clean room, very helpful host, but a bit pricey.

I stayed in the standard room. (A room with a beautiful view of the nearby golf-course is also available at higher cost). The bedroom and the large ensuite bathroom were spotlessly clean and very well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and generously sized, and the room was equipped with a fridge and TV. The room was quiet and peaceful. The host, Aine, was friendly and welcoming, and very flexible regarding arrival and departure. Ingredients for a light breakfast are provided in the room (milk and yogurt in fridge), choice of two cereals, tea and instant coffee, and you help yourself. There is plenty of onsite parking.

It would be good to have a desk and chair at which to work. This standard room is in the bottom storey of the three-storey house which is built into a steep slope. The window in the room was a shallow window, set at about 2m above the floor, so the room received little daylight and could be somewhat claustrophobic for some people. (The room with the view of the golf-course would not have this problem). Price seemed a bit high for the area and this room.

Perfect place for a short stay in a beautiful location.

The location was perfect for us as it was a pit stop on our journey. The host was so accommodating as we arrived a lot later than planned and yet she was welcoming and really helpful. Both rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was ideal as it allowed us the freedom to get up and go in the morning.

Bilo nam je prekrasno! Besplatno smo dobili upgrade sobe, a prije nego što smo došli zatražili smo radni stol kako bi mogla raditi iz sobe. Dočekao me radni stol i stolac, a imali smo i voće, žitarice, jogurte i drugu hranu za doručak. Promijenjena nam je posteljina i dobili smo nove ručnike tijekom boravka, a hrana je bila nadopunjavana po potrebi. Generalno, jako laka komunikacija s domaćinima, predivan pogled i mirno mjesto za odmoriti dušu. Svakako bih preporučila boravak ovdje. Dečku i meni je bilo odlično, posebno bih preporučila posjet Rossmore šumi.

Ich war mit Hund da, es war nicht möglich morgens oder abends noch spazieren zu gehen, ohne das Auto zu bewegen. Obwohl es mitten im Grün liegt, alles abgesperrt. Hat nichts mit der Unterkunft zu tun, aber solle man wissen mit Hund. Es fehlt im Zimmer irgendwie ein Tisch und gescheiter Stuhl zum frühstücken. Es steht nur ein Korbsessel drin, der viel Platz einnimmt, aber unpraktisch ist.
