Great location for my friend's wedding at Hilton Park House. Lovely room, with some breakfast options and standard essentials. Host was friendly and welcoming. Good amenities.
Check in process was unclear, and couldn't immediately find the host on arrival. There was a lot of noise coming from the room above in the evening and early in the morning - it sounded like lots of moving furniture and running across the room - which was very disruptive when trying to sleep.

I stayed in the standard room. (A room with a beautiful view of the nearby golf-course is also available at higher cost). The bedroom and the large ensuite bathroom were spotlessly clean and very well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and generously sized, and the room was equipped with a fridge and TV. The room was quiet and peaceful.
The host, Aine, was friendly and welcoming, and very flexible regarding arrival and departure. Ingredients for a light breakfast are provided in the room (milk and yogurt in fridge), choice of two cereals, tea and instant coffee, and you help yourself. There is plenty of onsite parking.
It would be good to have a desk and chair at which to work. This standard room is in the bottom storey of the three-storey house which is built into a steep slope. The window in the room was a shallow window, set at about 2m above the floor, so the room received little daylight and could be somewhat claustrophobic for some people. (The room with the view of the golf-course would not have this problem). Price seemed a bit high for the area and this room.
