Excellent little place

Lovely accommodation with a lovely host. She really went above and beyond. Can not fault the accommodation, it litrally had everything there that we could need. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped.

I can't say there was anything I didn't like. But if I had to choose 1 thing It would be that a washer and dryer are on the listing but there wasn't 1. I didn't need 1 so didn't bother me, but if someone needed them for some reason then it may be a problem for them.

Comfortable and very convenient - especially after a long day out and about!

After a delay to the Ferry, i was tired and relieved to arrive. Chrissie had left the keys in the door, and had the lights and heating on which was very welcome. There was milk in the fridge (along with wine!) and biscuits to keep me going through the night. She checked in on Monday to make sure everything was well. Overall it was a seamless stay, very comfortable, and i would return here the next time i am on Lewis.

A wonderful home from home base in which to explore Lewis

The owner, Chrissie, went out of her way to make our stay so amazing. The apartment had everything that we could have wished for. Would definitely stay again if we are ever fortunate enough to travel to the outer Hebrides.

We appreciated the warm welcome by the host and had a lovely week touring Lewis and Harris.

A few essentials and fresh flowers left for us, well equipped kitchen, nice and warm, very comfortable and spacious bed, nice bathroom although it's a shower over the bath, parking right next to the door, use of the garden.

If I was to be picky then I'd say that the sofa wasn't the most comfortable for a long sit down. Fine for a couple of hours but, with our visit being in March there were days when we came back early afternoon and by mid evening it felt a bit hard.

A gem in every way, absolutely superb.

The location is outstanding and the self catering apartment superb. Extremely well decorated, homely and very comfortable. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and Chrissie, our host, was extremely helpful and friendly. Very highly recommendable.

Fabulous

Chrisse is a fabulous host the apartment was spotless with everything you need. Even a little welcome pack of cereal biscuits milk etc...I was on a 4 day motorcycle trip and my hosts was kind enough to let me Park my bike in the garage. House was perfect and had everything we needed. The extra touches (like wine and birthday card) for my boyfriend was a w

perfect location, self contained and the owner had thought of everything. It had everything we needed, off-street parking and wonderful views.

we hadn’t been notified that the owner was away and had provided booking.com with an alternative way for us to enter the property; however that wasn’t passed on to us, so we waited for several (cold) hours to find out.

one of the best stay in Scotland

One of the most beautiful stay in Scotland we have ever been. And if we could we would absolutely come back as soon as possible. The perfect location just outside the Stornoway makes it ideal place to visiting LaH. Apartment was soo clean, cosy and perfect for living. We could imagine to live here permanentely. Big thanks belongs to owner, she left for us some welcome pack which was sweet! Really big thank you for everything. Hope we could get back soon! ♥

There were certain foods supplied complimentarily The location was near enough to the town centre but far enough away to be in a quiet location' The garden was beautiful and lovely to sit in and watch the sunset and the sea view was a bonus

There was absolutely nothing to dislike abpout this location. The host was warm and friendly and very happy to give us advice and help about events on the island and some of the exceptional sites to visit.

Super Apartment

Super apartment 2 miles from the centre of Stornoway. There is a bus stop about 100m down the hill. (Hebredian Way Cyclists note: you can get one of the normal buses to drop you here directly after finishing the Way at Ness) Our host was so helpful - asking if we needed anything from the shops (on a very wet and windy day) Safe parking for our bikes and a load of goodies in the apartment which had everything you required.

Comfortable base for a short stay in Stornoway.

Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Good bathroom with an excellent shower, Helpful and welcoming host.

It would have been useful to have somewhere near the door to hang coats and jackets, especially wet ones. But overall we were very satisfied with the apartment and would recommend it to others.

Very good for short stay and convenient for first time visit

Good location to explore all island on first visit. Pleasant and helpful host. Nice views of sea. Off main road. Easy to operate heating. Smart bathroom and good shower. Lots of hot water.

The property was modern and very stylish, but some things could have been a little more practical, such as the bedside lamps which were impractical, bars stools uncomfortable, not much space or hanging area for wet outdoor clothing. The bed was comfortable but made up of 2 x 3. 6in mattresses so not as long as a king size bed.

The property is very clean, nicely furnished and the facilities are excellent. There is everything you would need. Chrissie was an excellent, intentive but not intrusive host. Would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our time at Orasaidh , from location to the property itself we honestly couldn’t find a single fault . Chrissie the owner is absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome , would highly recommend to anyone looking for a central base in Harris and Lewis

This compact wee holiday let was exactly what we needed. It contained all we needed and more. Chrissy was lovely and I'd recommend this place without hesitating. One large double or can be two singles.
