Great accommodation, not the best service

Great room, comfy bed, nice bathroom, fab location. Lovely little quaint pub with original features.

Staff were indifferent. No parking so had to get up early and move the car or pay more money. No room to even have a drink or dinner at the pub so a real shame we didn’t get to experience it. Hot water took a while to come through. Could hear other loud residents

A quirky country pub feel just a few seconds walk from the middle of Broadway

The perfect location, only about 30 seconds walk, to the heart of Broadway. A great atmosphere in the pub and the breakfast was amazing. Every single member of staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Needs a little bit of decor updating, especially in the bathroom. We realise it’s a quirky old property with wonky walks and floors. That’s all part of the charm but a new loo seat ( ours was clean but very discoloured which not a good look ) and a lick of paint would really help.

We had a lovely overnight day for breakfast was really good. The food on the night available to buy in the pub is great

The location is perfect and it was nice to stay above the pub where it was quiet at night, but you could pop down for friendly locals bar

Bathroom needs a new bin, toilet seat and toilet roll holder, shower is a very powerful but is usable but I’m guessing it is hard to increase the water in such an old building

This is a lovely old combined pub and hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. Even though the pub was downstairs and busy the room was quiet. We would happily stay here again.

Great pub with excellent beer and good home cooking at dinner. Reasonably priced food.

Cramped accommodation. Poor breakfast. Too many dogs for my liking. Bar closed at 9 pm on a Wednesday.

Very dated room, very small bathroom but fine for a 3 star I guess.

Bathroom very small. I thought it would be more up to date with a reasonable sized bathroom. Food was really cheaply priced but honestly not up to standard. Home made lasagne was very poor I would make a much better one.

As guests of the inn the pub staff could have been more accommodating when we were looking for a beer before dinner. We weren’t planning on staying long but they weren’t keen at as sitting inside at a table booked for later in the evening.

Highly recommended and I’d stay again!

Everything.. such a cozy.. great.. and lovely stay.. very clean.. very quiet although there’s a very very lovely pub in the first floor!

They have specific time for breakfast and they stop serving dinner at 7pm.. we were at other villages by dinner time and we didn’t get the chance to try their food!

Cosy stay in a cute village

Cute old style property fitting with the style of the Cotswolds, friendly staff

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in.. this really put the marks down for this place unfortunately. I think if they invested in some new mattresses I would definitely recommend to other travellers, but unfortunately I had a very early start the next day and did not sleep all nights got because of how soft and small the bed was. We also had dinner here and it was ok.

An honest pub in a town that’s a little up itself. I think it’s the best place on a budget

We stayed here one night walking the cotswold's way. The hotel served its purpose giving us a good night's rest, clean room, good beds. Breakfast and dinner quality was ok

Our room was tiny, and the bathroom even tinier, more suitable for a single person, not 2! Luckily the hotel had availability , and one of us booked a second room and moved in there

Rude staff member spoilt our stay

We liked the welcoming cheerful young man who showed us to our room. We liked the central location. We liked the atmosphere of this 17 th century inn

We realise that this is an old inn. However the shower was barely hot and pressure was an issue. For such basic accommodation it was overpriced. Arrived at 8.25 for breakfast which started at 8.30. However we were served tea coffee juice and toast but waited over half an hour for our cooked breakfast which we'd been asked to order and pay for the night before, also indicating an 8.30 breakfast time. This was despite another couple being served theirs after arriving well after us. When you are walking from inn to inn, breakfast after 9 am feels quite late. The female chef took offence at my asking if our order would take much longer. Even after I'd apologised for if I had offended her, she said that this is a pub and not a hotel; and that we could have got an upgrade and gone somewhere else. I thought this was incredibly rude. We would not return to this inn or recommend it to other fellow travellers. We come from Australia and this level of rudeness to customers would be entirely unacceptable.
