Great location close to the town center. Room was very clean with solid heating and a fan depending on the temperature. TV has Netflix, Amazon Prime and Youtube installed ( Don't forget to log out). And kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits are on offer as well as fresh towels. Would 100% book again if we come back to Chester.
Bed was a little on the hard side with only one pillow each on the double bed. It also seems that a pigeon or two has made a home in the attic and can be heard cooing early in the morning. Access to a iron and hairdryer would have been good and having a mini fridge in the room would have helped too.

The location of the hotel is excellent, only a few minutes easy walk into the centre of Chester. The building is quirky and interesting - especially the dragon! The place is a little dated and could do with a refresh but the room was spotless.
Dated decor and carpets, a little updating would make the place much more appealing. There were also some lingering smells from cooking.

The hotel is in a great location, within easy reach of pubs, restaurants, cafes & shops, which are all a couple of minutes walk away, going under the underpass. The river Dee is a 10/15 walk where you can on a boat trip or just have a lovely relaxing stroll.
The accommodation itself is not as clean as it could be. It needs a bit of tlc in the reception area and staircase going up to the rooms. The room themselves are clean enough. The bedding and towels are lovely and fresh and the beds are very comfortable. The facilities are good too, with a desk area, tv, kettle, refreshments and a full length mirror!
This is the second time we have stayed here and would definitely return again

Near to town with car park
Currently being refurbished so it provides just a room with no breakfast facilities, etc. No staff around usually.
