Shabby chic property in a great location. Might not be for you if you like 5 star luxury. But if you prefer character it

Great location with lots of character Appreciated the coffee machine although 2 coffee pods per person per day would be good- one on arrival and one for the morning. Nice shower with lots of hot water

A little chilly in January - could have used an extra heater to get up to temperature. A rug on the cold floor next to the bed would be appreciated Needed extra pillows/ cushions to make leaning against the wrought iron bed headboard comfortably

In the heart of Beaune, but...

The location, second to none. Right in the heart of the lovely city of Beaune. You could not find a more convenient location. Public parking on the square nearby is also easy.

I have the same feedback as many other people before (with no feedback or action from the owner): the property is outdated and has been poorly kept up. Patches of missing paint and plaster, very tired furniture (damaged chairs, noisy bed, damaged sink), curtains don't fit, old windows don't protect you from the busy pedestrian street's noise. This could be a lovely property, and it probably was when it was first launched, but poor maintenance has made it less desirable, which is sad. I hope the owner eventually picks up and starts acting upon her guests' feedback...

Ok, but could be improved!

Perfect position, good dimension of room, nicely made bed, all clean and comfortable. The bed is a metal frame therefore it makes some noises but nothing crazy.

I could barely finish 1 shower and the water was becoming cold. Air/con heating positioned above entrance door takes time and leaves the room rather cold due to poor insulation, the entrance is a bit dingy and there was a dying pigeon. I believe that for the price (cheapest central offer in booking but still not low) they should at least work on warm water for 2 showers.

Apt. was warm. Equipped to a basic level (but as advertised). No (functional) WiFi. Shower= 🧐

Shower is problematic; no door = water everywhere. The shower head easily slips out of place, defeating any attempt to keep the apartment dry.

Very special little place

Loved loved loved the Cocoon! Location was fabulous, right in the centre near all the action. The air conditioning was bliss, and for me the best bit was that the place was absolutely spotless and smelt lovely and fresh and clean! It’s all been beautifully decorated, and the bed is really comfy. Check in was super simple and straightforward, with clear instructions from the host. Loved it all, and we had a very special overnight stay in Beaune. Thank you Isabel :)

A localização é excelente e a limpeza é impecável.

A cama de metal não é confortável, não há como apoiar o travesseiro para leitura. Como não há poltronas ou sofás, a cama precisa ser mais aconchegante. Além disso, havia apenas 1 travesseiro para cada hóspede, e era um travesseiro muito baixo. Infelizmente muitos anfitriões não valorizam a qualidade dos travesseiros, peça fundamental na hospedaria. Outro aspecto negativo é a entrada do imóvel, no térreo. Está bastante decadente.
