Mady met us on arrival and gave a thorough handover of the property which is charming, even leaving some treats for us. Great location in a quiet part of town, but just a 10 min walk into the centre

15 minute walk to downtown Beaune. Quiet except for loud talking on the patio below into the late evening. Nice and comfortable. Nice place to get out of busy Beaune.

A bit stuffy inside. Had to leave the windows open all night. A bit of a narrow alleyway to get to the apartment but not too bad. Stairs.

Definitely recommend this place

Had a great stay at this place. The hosts were very welcoming and interesting. They didn’t hesitate to explain the history behind this estate. It is wonderful how they renewed the place (an old monastery) while still keeping its original charm.

We loved the location, very quiet and beautiful old buildings. Near enough to the center, at walking distance to the restaurants. Very important to us in this case: a safe, private parking place! The house was cozy and clean, we felt perfectly at home!

A perfect place to stop on our way back from the UK to Provence

The apartment is perfect for an overnight stay or a weekend in Beaune. It is conveniently situated about 800 m on foot from the town centre with secure parking in an enclosed courtyard. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the owners had taken great care to ensure it was safe in the current COVID pandemic. The kitchen is well equipped and bread, butter, jam, milk and coffee were all provided. The shower is very good and powerful. The wifi was reliable and a reasonable speed. The apartment was very quiet at night. The welcome from Mady was friendly and she explained how everything in the apartment worked.

The bed was a little small but comfortable. Nothing else.

Would highly recommend.

This was a beautiful, quirky and spacious apartment, very comfortable for a family of four. Mady was very kind and attentive during our stay (but not intrusive). We were able to use the outdoor seating area next to the courtyard parking and there is space to leave bikes. It is very well located, in a quiet area, but only a short walk to the centre. Would recommend the Patriarche wine cellar tour and cycling out to wine villages.

This is a comment, not a criticism. We have an VW campervan (transporter). The approach to the courtyard parking is very narrow - any vehicle wider than this will struggle to get in. But there is quiet on street parking as an alternative.
