Great Location, shame about the stairs.

The location was excellent and the apartment was well provisioned and quite comfortable.

* getting into the apartment and subsequent car park was complicated, with several codes and lock boxes needed to do so. You have to enter the apartment to get the garage key and cart bud cannot park outside to do so. * Although we are both in our mid-seventies and fit, we found climbing three flights of narrow stairs with luggage quite a challenge. The stairs into the apartment are wooden and not well maintained in parts and really need to be upgraded. * the communal areas in the building are quite neglected particularly on the landing outside the apartment.

Tiny hot attic

Fantastic location with only a short walk into town.

It's very much a small hot attic. The stairs up are very narrow and dangerous. The aircon box is only in lounge room and does not suffice summer weather nor is the sofa bed suitable for children. It really only suits two people max. Hosts charge extra for everything including water in the fridge and parking.

The apartment was very hot when we arrived. No air conditioning, but fans were provided. The fifty steps to reach the apartment. The parking is in a car park at 10 Euro per day, this should be detailed in the property listing.

Paid for 6 nights and never stayed due to safety concerns.

The location was great

The owner promised to send instructions for access several days before arrival and never did. Once we arrived at the property I called for access instructions. The detailed instructions were sent while we were standing outside the apartment and there were details not included on the Booking site. There were several floors of stairs with no safety rails and we had luggage to carry up and down the narrow stairs with no handrail for safety. The description noted stairs but only showed the wider staircase in the photo so a handrail is important. The site stated the apartment was not suitable for guests over 65 but no mention of the safety issue. Age was not an issue in our case. The owners agreed to refund our payment as an exception but never did. We paid for 6 nights and never stayed in the apartment. In fact we had to find another place to stay immediately which was a huge inconvenience. I cannot recommend this apartment based on the lack of safety of the stairs and the lack of response from the owner.

The location was very conviant in the centre. The apartment was very nice, cosy and clean. Very well renovated.

The apartment was (too) warm. We stayed here beginning of june. The outside temperature was 33 degrees, even with the mobile airco we couldn't drop the temperature anywhere in the apartment below 30. Also I didn't like that the fridge was haf full with small drinks and there where small bags of crisps you could buy for 2 euro's a piece (like a hotel minibar).

Wonderful little place to adventure from and return to relax and recharge!

Wonderful apartment in Beaune. Top floor provided excellent views of the neighborhood. Our host met us and made us feel welcome. It wss very close to the train station and within a few steps from city center. Very convenient. It easily accommodated 3 adults, but would be perfect for a couple on a romantic holiday. Quiet neighborhood but city center was lively and fun. Very convenient to local sights and bike rentals to tour the vineyard, which start sprawling at the edge of town.

The stairs 😅! We were well informed of the situation, but reality set in when we had to wrestle our luggage up to the attic apartment, and again when leaving. We definitely can be in better physical shape, and have packed smaller, more manageable luggage. But it didn't stop us. I would caution those who are elderly or have actual mobility issues. Seriously.

I would stay there again purely for the location, but it would be for 1 night only.

Location was excellent, and the flat was spacious. Also bearing in mind you are in the centre, the flat was remarkably quiet.

The stairs access was tricky with suitcases, but then it is an attic flat. They are refurbishing the common parts, as they were pretty shabby, but work in progress. Although the bedroom was a reasonable size, the bed was a standard double, and it is a shame that they couldn't provide 1 size up. There were no cupboards to hang clothes.

The apartment was very beautiful and cosy, ideal for a one night stay. It was an easy self check-in.

The apartment was beautiful and we loved the personal touches. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was spacious. There was enough natural light in the living room and bedroom.

There were too many narrow stairs for our liking as we traveled with big bags and young kids. There was no parking available in front of the building and we had to pay extra for parking.

Great location near the centre of Beaune and a very elegant, modern attic apartment with all amenities. Hosts were wonderful and answered every question - including restaurant tips - so we had a great stay.

Access is quite challenging via several narrow steep stairs, so guests should be aware to travel light to avoid surprises. No fault of the host, of course - and its part of the charm of living within the ancient town of Beaune.

L'appartement était bien situé dans Beaune et nous a permis de profiter pleinement de la ville. L'appartement est très cosy et bien agencé, nous y sommes resté qu'un week-end, mais c'était fort agréable.

Les espaces communs sont peut-être un peu en travaux ce qui étonne un peu au premier abord, et la propreté de l'appartement était moyenne dans l'ensemble, notamment dans la cuisine et la salle de bain.

Beaucoup de charme et d'agréments.

Emplacement idéal au centre de Beaune, dans un quartier pittoresque. L'appartement est très confortable et très joliment aménagé, beaucoup de charme. L'agrément aussi de trouver à disposition des produits pour la cuisine et pour la toilette, c'est agréablement convivial. Pour garer la voiture, le parking proposé avec un petit supplément est tout proche, nous avons été très contents aussi de cette solution. Le seul point négatif serait la cage d'escalier de l'immeuble, extrêmement étroite avec un escalier particulièrement raide, mais comme c'est signalé nous n'avons pas été surpris, ni gênés.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft mit zentraler Lage in Beaune.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Die Fußgängerzone ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Gastgeberin hat sehr schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert.

Die Reinigung im allgemeinen, aber besonders im Bad könnte noch etwas verbessert werden. Die Gastgeberin hat sich aber dessen sehr schnell angenommen. Das helle Sofa hatte leider bereits Gebrauchspuren.
