Nice stay

We stayed 6 nights, 4 persones incl. 2 teenagers. The appartement is very well suited. Giulia (host) was nice and helpfull. Location perfect in Lucca as well as a base for daily trips.

The stairs might be problematic for guests with big luggage, we had only one which was handled by our sons. To get to bathroom you have to pass bedroom. This aspects are minor so it did not afect our rating.

Quiet stay in Lucca

It is a big space: living-room with kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom and an extra room. It is good for a family with 2 children. So for the 2 of us it was a nice stay in a rather big space. It is on a quiet street. As a plus, there is a washing machine. Hosts were nice.

a great place to stay !

our hosts were very helpful from before we arrived and on the day they met us and made sure we were happy. They were so kind . The location was excellent close to the walls for walking and a short walk in to the towns main sights …and the apartment had everything we could want for a short stay in the lovely old town .

Light, bright and quiet, it was a short walk to the wall and getting around Lucca. Julia was great, gave us great suggestions and allowed us flexibility with our checkout.

Just one bathroom and metal stairs, so moving around in morning while others slept was hard.

Loved Lucca and the apartment!

wish the bathroom is downstairs.

the location is perfect , right by the wall. Marco is very kind and helped us to lift the luggage to the room.

no elevator to the unit. both the bad and the bathroom are on the attic level . had to climb the steps and pass the bed for the bathroom . Will not work for those with knee problems or need privacy for bedroom .

Like the others are saying: good place to stay!

A very nice small apartment with high ceiling and because of an extra floor it was spacious. Looks nice and bright, seems like new. Good large bed and a bunk-bed for the kids. They loved it! There's even a washing machine. Hosts are very attentive and friendly. I would book again when in Lucca since the location is good (not the view but short distance to the lovely centre of Lucca). Car can be parked in front of the door!

Very noisy, you can hear the stairs and the neighbours quite loud. Kitchen is a bit puzzled. Not very warm. Bathroom wasnt really clean. Very small TV.

A lovely apartment in a perfect location

First of all the host Giannino was exceptional. He met all of our requirements promptly and with no problem. He was there to meet us on arrival to give us the keys and explain things about the neighbourhood and the apartment. Extremely helpful and obliging! The location is perfect. Just inside the famous wall of Lucca and walking distance to all of the "centro storico" with its shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is comfortable and the four of us were quite comfortable. The host left lots of amenities and groceries in the kitchen and bathroom such as coffee, sugar, tea, soap, shampoo, toilet rolls and extra towels for our five night stay. We really appreciated that. The bathroom is modern, the shower is large and very nice with great water pressure. The place is ideal for a couple but there is an extra room with bunk beds which make it comfortable for a family of four. We loved our stay and we would recommend this apartment to couples and to families wishing to visit Lucca. Finally a very big GRAZIE to Giannino who was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Grazie e arrivederci!!

We enjoyed stay in this appartment as it was is so roomy for a family of four to relax in.

This is a great appartment for a family of four, there is plenty of space to relax and unwind. The amenities were clean and well presented and the appartment is lovely and quiet. Being inside the city wall means you are close to everything that Lucca has to offer.

Dúplex reformado con mucho potencial muy caro

El apartamento reformado en el centro de Lucca tiene una ubicación muy interesante, cerca de la muralla (con parque para poder relajarte) y cerca del centro y del ambiente de la ciudad. Es muy luminoso y tiene mucho potencial, y el dormitorio es muy acogedor. Giulia, la chica que nos dio la bienvenida, fue muy atenta y puntual.

Lo peor: el ruido. La escalera del edificio es de metal y hace mucho ruido cada vez que alguien sube o baja, lo que dificulta el descanso teniendo en cuenta que la puerta del apartamento no insonoriza nada e incluso se mueve (dando un portazo) cada vez que se abre la puerta del edificio. Nosotros tuvimos la mala suerte de que, además, los de la limpieza nos despertaron por la mañana mientras dormíamos (sin que fuese el día de nuestra salida) porque se confundieron de piso para limpiar. Por último, desde el dormitorio se oye el apartamento de al lado (sobretodo si son ruidosos, ya que también es un piso de alquiler) y se oye la caldera cuando hace frío, encendiéndose y apagándose. No tiene ascensor y está en una 3a planta. La habitación con literas es muy básica (una litera y una lámpara). La TV es de risa, por antigua y por pequeña (no mide más de un palmo y medio).. La cocina necesita algún apaño y, aunque dejan esenciales para que se usen (jabones, esponjas, trapos, sal, aceite), se nota que dejan aquello que otros huéspedes se han dejado, sin más. Las cortinas y porticones para tapar la luz del dúplex son insuficientes si pretendes dormir sin luz. Por último, y tras haber estado 4 noches, podemos decir que el apartamento tiene un precio elevadísimo para lo que ofrece (eso sin tener en cuenta los 10€/noche del parking que se pagan en efectivo por dejarlo en la calle y sin vigilar).
