Perfect Italian Escape

The apartment was stunning! Easily accessible and in a really great location. Andreas was so lovely and met us at the apartment on time with the keys. He let us keep our bags there whilst we explored Lucca and even brought some things we left behind to the train station for us! Really above and beyond 💕 I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Lucca. Absolutely unreal place xx

A special place with a very helpful owner

Fantastic location and a beautiful apartment in the historic centre of Lucca. Very helpful owner who made himself available at very short notice to meet us at the property, after we had been badly let down by the agents of the property we had booked originally. We switched to staying at Puccini's Home and are so glad we did. We will definitely come back here again.

Only that there's no air conditioning so it can get hot in summer. There's fans so it isn't too bad, but aircon would make it perfect.

An excellent base for enjoying Lucca

The location next door to Puccini's house was superb. We loved being able to open the window to look over the square, one evening hearing a quartet play. The nearby bars and cafes are good. The apartment is historical, sensitively modernised, very light, and nicely decorated. The living room is huge, beds and bathrooms comfortable, Andre is lovely, very helpful. He welcomed our few suggestions.

We expected and accepted that the privilege of staying in an old building is having to climb stairs. This apartment is two floors up.

I felt like o was staying in Lucca of 100 years ago!

Puccini’s home was exactly above Puccini’s statue in the square. It was on the third floor with a view with 4 meter ceilings and a feeling of spaciousness. It was quiet yet centrally located. Andrea was a perfect host who was there to recommend all types of areas to see in Lucca.

You are in a very old building which most do not have an elevator but the staircase is wide and definitely worth the walk up.

Great, well-located spot

Lovely elegant apartment in an historic building within the walls. Super location and the apartment was spotless with great facilities. Lovely to rock out in the morning and have a cappuccino at one of the lovely cafes on the square.

Because it is well-located in the centre of the walled city, it can be noisy. Not excessively but useful to have earplugs.

Superb

Great historical location, is convenient for dining, walking the old town, and just being in Lucca, which we have visited many times Andre was awesome. He helped with our luggage and taking us to our car

People of a certain age and abilities should be aware of the 52 very steep stairs to get to the apartment. The bedding is in need of updating, the pots and pans aren't that inviting to use,need replacing, apartment could have been cleaned more thoroughly,

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location.

The host was wonderful, offered great communication, and made check-in extremely convenient. The apartment was beautiful and in an exceptional location (within walking distance from the train station). The grocery market was literally across the piazza and there were lots of dining options nearby. The area was quiet and the apartment finishings were very nice. We would absolutely stay there again.

The fridge may have been off before we stayed (or not used in a while), as it was really smelly when we opened it. However, we were traveling in the off-season and it wasn't a big deal. Everything else during our stay was wonderful.

Excellent location. The Owen was very responsive And came Over to clean the apartments one notified it was not up to standard.

Hot water kettle along with decent mugs and wine glasses lacking. Also wine bottle opener broken. A minor fix but will go a long way to make the stay more enjoyable.

Well situated, spacious apartment. Nice for a short stay.

Nice central location. Well placed for restaurants and sightseeing. Plenty of space for 2 to 4 people. Functional kitchen area. Good shower, hot water at good pressure. Comfortable bed. Friendly owner.

For U.K. travellers in particular, be aware that dropping bags off early incurs a charge. Difficult stairs for older people - 2 flights. The downside of location is the noise from the piazza below. Not a criticism just an observation.

Exceptional

The apartment is very central (quite literally less than one minute away from the Cathedral), modern, clean, comfortable and very spacious. There are many cafés, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Lisa our host, was always very friendly and helpful.

No WIFI although this is no complaint as it is written in the description. I would still be nice to have though. A cutting board, some sharp/meat knives and a toaster would be nice to have in the kitchen.

HERMOSA ESTANCIA

El apartamento esta muy bien equipado, era grande y comodo, luminoso y bien decorado, con una excelente ubicacion, el contacto fue fluido, extremadamente cordial, dispuesto en todo momento para cualquier inquietud. Fuimos en enero y el departamente estaba muy bien calefaccionado, no tuvimos en ningun momento frio. La vista del departamente a la plaza Puccini es hermosa. Lo recomiendo y volveria sin lugar a dudas.

L’emplacement, la réactivité du propriétaire, la maison, l’espace et les 2 salles de bain.

Les draps synthetiques et la pièce du haut car il ne semblait pas secure de garder la fenêtre ouverte, ce qui rendait la chambre étouffante.

Je recommande cet appartement pour un passage à Lucca (2 nuits pour nous)

Très joli appartement, spacieux, clair, très bien situé. Très bon accueil avec remise des clefs en main propre. Notre hôte nous a indiqué tout de suite qu’il était flexible sur les heures d’arrivée et de départ, et possibilité de laisser les bagages quelques heures après le Check out.

Un appartamento bellissimo, molto molto spazioso, caratteristica davvero rara e arredato con gusto, in pienissimo centro. Le foto non rendono: l’impatto è ancora più piacevole! Il nostro host Andrea, una persona professionale, gentile e paziente (ci ha atteso per giunta sotto la pioggia), molto chiaro e in ultimo anche molto disponibile con l’orario del check out. Quando torneremo a Lucca, sarà il posto che prenoteremo di nuovo!
