Katarina Rooms

The host was so lovely. She let us leave our luggage early and replied to any questions we had very quickly. Our room was likely the smallest room they have, and although it was very cozy, it had everything we needed and was ideal for 4 days. Free WiFi, some plates, TV, mini fridge, storage for clothes and free air-conditioning which in August was vital. The place was immaculately clean and felt so fresh. The beds were comfy. Although it is on a hill which a fair number of steps to access the property (as is access to pretty much any area of Dubrovnik) there was easy pick up and drop of for uber/bolt/taxi.

Not a problem for us but if you are not good with stairs its not for you. As it clearly shows on the property details its a 25 min walk to old town so don't expect to step straight into old town. It a easy walk but for us (going at the hottest time of the year in August) we found it too hot to walk. This was not a problem as there were plenty of Ubers or Bolt available for normally around €11-14 to Pile gate.

Everything in Dubrovnik is expensive so unless you are loaded, you have to stay away from old town. This is the best value I could find, but you still need transport to get to the accommodation if you have luggage. The host was very good with communication and the cleaner was polite. Close to bus stops, supermarkets and restaurants

The room is small and basic, but it's exactly as the photos show so completely fair, Considering the price we were happy for the one night

The balcony is very nice and the rooms are well air conditioned .

The room was exceptionally small and the bathroom was even smaller .
