Guesthouse S&L 1

Ante, the host, cared about me getting the most from my stay in Dubrovnik. That's evident from the clean and comfortable apartment, through to taking the time to sit and explain how much money I can save with the Dubrovnik Pass. He even picked me up and dropped me off at the ferry.

This is the first review where I have no suggestions for improvements

Friendly host who picked me up from the bus station. spotless room and facilities. Close to the port if you are catching a ferry to the islands, just 10 min walk downhill. Quiet local neighbourhood with supermarket and restaurants close by. Beautiful view from the small balcony. Buses nearby to take you into the ol town although i walked which took about 25 minutes.

Soundproofing of the door to the room could have been better. Each room opens to the communal hallway/kitchen, i didnt experience much noise but if there were other guests that were inconsiderate that could be annoying. I booked because i needed a washing machine but this wasnt working so should be removed from the room photos, the host however did offer to do washing for me.

The host was so kind, helpful and warming . He comes to pick guests up to near bus station, and brought my huge luggage without extra fee. And he gave me many useful information how to get the buses/ nice place to visit etc. Also, whenever I asked about something, he experienced very well. If you are good in timing, he will bring you to the old city by car. Also, the view from the apartment terrace is SO AMAZING. You can enjoy the beautiful sunset from here. Room was also very clean and nice, installed shared kitchen.

Nice balcony view. Very helpful host, Ante. Good looking apartment with one bedroom + bathroom + balcony.

Common kitchen and entrance to more apartments. Depending on other guests, can be noisy some time.
