Great view but way out of town

Brilliant view, best we've seen,from the balcony

A long way from town, although a good bus. service to the old town and port made this better. Bathroom was private but had to go out of the room onto a shared corridor to get to it. Nothing nearby apart from one hotel, eg no shops for food

Unforgettable, Amazing, Beautiful Best View Ever.

Let’s get this straight. You are paying for the most beautiful view you could possibly wish for. We have stayed in Venice and had a roof top terrace overlooking the canal and this tops that …price tag in Venice over £1500 for 5 days The room was basic but larger than most. Plenty of space for hanging of clothes. Bedside cabinets and fridge freezer in the room Yes your bathroom is opposite your room but it’s 2 steps away with your own key..probably your one at home is further away than this. Hospitality just amazing

The truth is that there is nothing wrong with this property. But beware that there are steps going down to the property as to get the amazing view your up high so just keep this in mind.

Room was nice and big with great view. Host was very friendly and provided plenty of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.

THE VIEWS. Simply because of that, I would repeat Located away from the old town, I had a nice walk down (45 min aprox) and then I took the bus up to the pension

It could be cleaner and WIFI does not work. I tried to work from there and it was impossible to put calls through…I had to use my data

All. View - Service - perfect kitchen. The place is the best you can get to have a beautiful experience here in Dubrovnik - serously.

We prefer more cotton material as bed - a lot people use today materials that contain plastics, we prefer cotton or linen in beddings.

Fantastic and really helpful personnel, wonderful views from the balcony, shared kitchen means you can save money if you want to cook something by yourself, each room has its own bathroom, great value for money

Only two things: shared kitchen means that all depends on the other guests (it don't have to be disadvantage though), and each room has its own bathroom but it is separated from the room by a corridor

the host was very helpful and friendly - thank you for all the explanations and helpful tips on Dubrovnik and the surrounds and showing everything on the map right upon my arrival! I liked the location high above the bay with all the ships and boats - the views were absolutely spectacular!

We had magnificent views of sea, islands and marinas. The beds were comfortable, enough seating, dedicated bathroom and the kitchen amenities were much appreciated.

Not bad, not good.

Friendly host, always ready to help and give good adresses. Nice view from the balcony. Easy access to the old city, the harbour and the bus station with number 3 close by.

The bathrooms (indeed privates) are outside the rooms which is not what we expected. Overall facilities are a bit old and could be improved The walk to bus stop is very dangerous.

Good value for money

The view from our balcony of Port Gruz was gorgeous! The sunsets over the port and the mountains surrounding the water were stunning. The room was as described. Nice added extra of a fridge in our room to keep drinks cool. The Host was incredibly helpful, and provided a map with recommended attractions circled, as well as bus information etc! Over all great for the price we paid. Thank you x

Our private bathroom could have done with a bit more of a clean before we arrived. The Floor was a little dirty; a few hairs scattered about, but nothing major. Would still recommend this accommodation x

Welcoming and helpful host, great host and a good location especially for a car driving guest

I was pleased to find that the advertised parking was private as have been caught out with sites saying parking but it was just street parking if you can find it or garage parking all at significant cost. The host is excellent and provides detailed briefing. Although my private bathroom was across from my room the facilities were very good and the balcony overlooking the harbour was a bonus to watch the cruise ships come in. To avoid parking hassles in downtown old city the bus from by the accommodation was very convenient. Overall I had an enjoyable stay which included a visit to the hosts brothers bird aviaries which was a bonus for a bird lover and keeper.

A minor inconvenience is access to the food shop which involves climb up and down steps to a road below. This can be avoided by getting any food in Old Town before coming back in the bus or car

I enjoy the Panorama place very much

The view from my apartment were fantastic I was able to see the city, the sunset, the place were clean, provide wifi that I can search places where to go, and comunique with my family and plan my day. close to the bus station , and the bus for the city. The hospitality and welcome was excellent even we get late due to transportation he was available for us and communicated what to do how to get to the apartment and how to get around the city.

To have snacks and water bottle in the kitchen available to use, in case you get late and store are no open at that time. Also emergency first aid kit. Have available mosquito spray or something to prevent the mosquito or spider to get into the bathroom; I really like the place that I will return the same place if I am going back to Dubrovnik.

A wonderful place to stay... Beautiful balcony view over the harbour and islands... West facing so can watch the sun go down. Really lovely. Full kitchen to utilise. 3 minutes from bus stop into the old town. A wonderful kind host, so very warm and welcoming, makes you feel right at home and very looked after. A great place to stay...

Room key didn't work, so we couldn't lock our room. Good thing Croatia is pretty safe, so we weren't so worried. No heating in toilet and as it was end of October it was pretty uncomfortable to take a shower.

Great option for mature travellers looking for an affordable alternative to dorm room accommodation.

Zio was a great host and very helpful, always happy to explain how to get to a certain attraction or give helpful hints about where to find the best places to eat. Zio offers different day trips, although I didn't do any, so can't comment on these. The bus link to Old Town is close by and runs frequently and as the cost of staying in Old Town was way outside my budget, Pansion Panorama is a great place to stay.

I had the ensuite room, the view wasn't as great, but having my own bathroom was more important. The hallway is a bit echoey, so it can be a bit noisy, depending on how loud others talk and how early they start moving around. I read that there was a smell from the bathroom; there's no denying that this was present at times, but I believe this is due to the heat and water systems in the country and not a reflection on Zio and the service he offers to travellers watching the pennies. Staying here was cheaper than a 12-bed dorm in Old Town!

Zijo was an amazing host! This has been the most relaxing vacation I've been as he is the one who organized so many amazing trips for me. The location also gives the best sunset view and port gruz.
