The location is beautiful, calm, peaceful, quiet. The facilities are gorgeous as well. The pool is clean and a nice temperature (not too cold). I loved the option to rent a bike and explore the village by bike. I think this hotel was perfect for me and the service was excellent.

The breakfast was a simple breakfast menu (à la carte) because there weren’t any tour groups staying there at the time (they offer a full buffet for groups). We had the buffet with our tour group previously and it was very delicious (bacon, scrambled eggs, herbed potatoes, juice, coffee, etc.) so we were a bit disappointed we didn’t have the buffet menu during our stay this time.

Wonderful boutique hotel

Beautiful garden, rooms, decoration. All good! I really liked this hotel. Would recommend coming agains. Welcome fruit and drink, staff was exceptional. Breakfast was good. Notice is only local food. Pool was beautiful, but in that moment where I was it could improve on water cleaning. Beds are clean, smell good. Aircon is strong and fresh. Shower is okay and warm. No mosquitoes in the room. No roosters waking you up in the morning. Beautiful garden to walk and relax. Nice wooden rooms. Well decorated and with high roof. I loved the place.

Lovely stay and super helpful friendly staff

The staff were very attentive, welcomed us on arrival and took our bags to the room whilst we were shown the complex. The room was lovely, very clean and has WiFi and flip flops and dressing gowns, mosquito nets around the bed and plug ins. Bottled water provided daily. Food and drinks selection was good. We were close to lots of water falls which were great to explore.

Our room was slightly away from the main area and close to residents which meant dogs barking most of the day and night. We did have ear plugs which helped at night. Not much else to do in the evening once finished dinner.

Absolutely magical

This place is magical. We stayed in three little cabans. Each caban has its own bathroom. The facilities are very clean and modern. The beds have a full mosquito net around. The Home has its own restaurant, with very tasty indonesian food, and a small bar, where you can have a little cocktail. The pool is amazing. And then a word about the wonderful staff. They were amazing with us. Very friendly and helpful. Gave us some really great tips on what to visit.

Beautiful serene place away from busy Ubud

Very beautiful resort, peaceful- no construction around! You relax by the pool, great atmosphere, bar available all day, restaurant. Didn’t want to go anywhere as so peaceful and relaxing here! Staff are so amazing and helpful- big thanks to lady Tara at breakfast, and ladies at reception!! I stayed in small house next to restaurant- it was nice, cozy, very clean- newly built. Beautiful bathrobes, clean towels, hot shower! The problem is the sound proofing of this house- you can hear your neighbors breathing, like you are at one room. Some neighbors were loud until midnight, disturbing. Also restaurant starts at 7- so you will wake up because you can hear everything, if you like to sleep longer choose room away from pool There is nothing around so you need transport to go to places like waterfalls, Besakih temple, restaurant or supermarket

Extraordinary place to be

The staff were superb 👌 very helpful and always willing to help. Enjoyed the tropical bali breakfast 😋 , the traditional banana fritters were simply amazing 👏 We enjoyed every second of our stay, nothing to complain about.

A green paradise supporting local community

The main area with restaurant and swimming pool was really amazing, full of green and well cared. Room was very new, clean and well maintained. Food really tasty. I also liked the sustainability concept supporting the local community. The Margaritas made by Wayan at pool bar were also really good :)

From the hotel and room description it wasn’t clear to me that I had booked a room (Bale Dangin, as well as the rooms Bale Kayu) located in another area (not where main pool and restaurant area area) and I was a bit disappointed. Dewi, from the reception staff was really nice though and allowed me to upgrade to Bale Batu (in main area) for a good price.

Very good

Clean room ! Good service, good friendly staff and a great place for a real vacation.And they have a good brekfast. Clean pools . If you what to be only on one place and relax this is the place . And not to hot, have some warm cloting for the night.

we had reserved a room next to the smaller pool (baye kalu delux) if you plan a room there, keep in mind that you will hear the sound of roosters and dogs all night, which is not very good.And the room has a weird and strong smell of moisture. We asked them to change our room, from their side it was great, they immediately changed our room, that was perfect. Far from Ubud,market,restorants. You are there only or you can drive 1 hour to Ubud. And keep a eye on prices.

I love this place. Calm, peaceful and beautiful. I would come back anytime. The staff was really helpful, kind and friendly. The pool really nice. Really worth it for the amount of money we paid.

A bargain, don't pass it.

Discretely hidden behind a row of houses and temples, this is a gem of a property and a bargain. The vibe of the hotel was so chill and compact without being crowded. A lovely bar, a simple restaurant, and a nice clean pool. If you're looking for a really nice chill-out place, this will certainly hit the spot. It will be on our list the next time we go back to Bali.

Honestly, I couldn't find any fault. There was a good level of security at the gates and we felt very safe.

Lovely place but extremely remote with no other amenities nearby

The grounds were beautiful & staff very friendly & helpful.

The mosquitoes in the room are bad. The metal re-usable water bottles were mouldy and water inside undrinkable. My bungalow was annoyingly located very far away from the pool bar, so could not have drinks by my pool. There are no fridges in the room, & no shops anywhere nearby to purchase drinks. There are no other dining options nearby so you have to rely on the very small menu at the hotel. The roosters crowing at 2am and the midnight dog fights/barking destroyed what little sleep I could get. The resort is located so remotely that there is no transport available other than to expensive hotel cars.

I didn't like that I left my shirt in the closet in the room and left the next day. I asked the staff to check it, but they said "maybe you forgot at another hotel." although I arrived there in it. for this low score. this is very unpleasant . and there was no sound insulation in my room. Good value for money and very peaceful place.

Really nice property with beautiful gardens. Comfy rooms with private terrace and comfy chairs. Bathroom is spacious and shower very natural and special. Good food for breakfast and dinner.

Very loud noise from nearby temples over speaker. Some kind of prayer. Locals told us it’s to compete against the Muslim prayer sounds. Not a good idea if you want to keep western tourists happy. WiFi in the room didn’t work at all.
