Good value stay near Lille.

It is a very nice and peaceful place to stay, with a very friendly and helpful owner/host. The accommodation is very private and comfortable, and they bring your breakfast in the morning (although there are some basics already there for you plus a fridge). Powerful shower! It is a good location for driving or cycling into Lille and some nearby restaurants. Lots of lovely animals to watch in the grounds.

Nothing at all, but others might not like the staircase to the accommodation. Also, let the owner know beforehand if you don't like dogs jumping up to you (although they are very friendly). The bed may be a little short if you are over 6' tall but fine if you are travelling solo.

Amazing , hygienic stay with a beautiful scenery. Value for money and a warm homey feel.

I liked the hygiene, the breakfast, overall nature and atmosphere of the place. The calm scenery at the pond the trees and interesting animals around was perfect for us. The host was very friendly and helpful.

This was an ideal stop on the first night of our holiday.

Isabelle was very welcoming and her recommendation for a nearby restaurant suited us very well. We enjoyed the variety of animals in the paddock. Breakfast in the room with fresh bread delivered sent us on our way in very good heart.

A lovely rural idyll

The owner is very friendly and kind. She has a variety of rescued animals that made our stay interesting and enjoyable. Having a cupboard full of breakfast ingredients as well as freshly delivered bread and croissants was a great way to start the day.

The external metal staircase up to the room might be a challenge for some.

What charming and delightful place !

Everything. Fantastic little place. Very lovely and friendly owner, who speaks English, which was very helpful. The place is very charming and has a lot of character. It was very well equipped, and also has a few cool animals around. It was very relaxing. Despite us staying there only one night, we enjoyed our stay there a lot. There was also a fridge in the apartment, which came in very handy. The place was very clean as well. If you like being in the countryside, you will love this place for sure ! I highly recommend trying it out !

Great location to visit Lille and Kortrijk (only a few km away) but in the countryside.

Breakfast was OK, a little scarse. A lot of space outside, huge garden with grass (chairs, table) and trees. Very quiet apart from the animal sounds, both natural and kept outside.

The space is quit small. It's the topfloor of the side-house, under the roof. So the living space, including bed is 3 x 8 meters, under a sloped roof... There is an extra bathroom.

Accueil chaleureux pour un séjour au calùe

L'indépendance de la chambre par rapport au logement principal est un plus. Isabelle est très accueillante et chaleureuse. Elle nous apporte le petit déjeuner dans notre chambre sans que nous ne devions sortir ! La maison est située dans un grand parc agrémenté d'animaux 👍

Nous ne sommes pas parvenus à avoir le wifi ... ; il semblerait qu'il y ait eu un souci local

Eine sehr spezielle Unterkunft (Herausforderung)

Die Gastgeberin war freundlich und sehr bemüht. Zum Frühstück brachte sie uns verschiedene, leckere Backwaren.

Den Kaffee mussten wir uns selbst zubereiten, in einem alten Einbauschrank lagen dafür die Utensilien... Leider handelt es sich hier um ein Zimmer das man über eine Metalltreppe erreicht. Die Einrichtung ist wirklich speziell - Viel "Gedöns" überall, jedoch ist diese Behausung mehr als spartanisch - Das Badezimmer war wirklich "altertümlich", kalt und total ungemütlich- besonders die Dusche. Alles wirkte düster - ohne Komfort. Die Matratze war viel zu weich.... etc.... Diese Unterkunft würden wir nicht wieder buchen.
