The location is not in a great area The communal areas smelled of urine We had to move room 3 times because of noise. The walls are paper thin The door handle fell off the bathroom when you tried to close it The metal blind on the window would not open The mattress in the final bedroom was broken and so slumped to one side

Mouldy bathroom ceiling in one room. Body fluid stains on a bed in another room . Lift broke down halfway up and was bouncing up and down .

It was a bed for the night. Simple but basic. Felt a little tired in the shared guest areas. Room was adequate and clean. Lots of people seemed to be hanging around the car park.

Dark corridors. Felt like a cross between a service station hotel and youth hostel. Place to sleep and move on with your journey. Did us fine leaving at 6am.

Staff was helpful and the hotel is close to the metro and shops.

First room we got had black mould on the ceiling in the room and bathroom, we asked for another room which had black mould again in the room and bathroom. The third room was ok-ish, "only" the bathroom had mould, at least the room was better.

I did not like there was missing table and chair in the room and we could not sit/stay at the tables close to receptions. Tables were available only during breakfast (and not after). We did not have light in the room.

Horrible smell. Everything else was OK.

The staff was 75% absolutely exceptional and it was only one of 4 people at the reception that was absolutely antisocial. It was close to everything I needed. Metro, shopping center, hostpital (where I worked). The room was pretty clean. And the bathroom I was in wasn't looking as bad as some other people provided photos. Warm water instantly. Not too bad And nobody bothered me with anything. Sometimes this is a plus. Being left alone.

The smell in the room was horrendous. I put my clothes in the cabinets and after I got them out they smelled like rotten mold. It was a bit noisy but it wasn't so bad. However I am someone that's not having difficulty sleeping. Everything else was acceptable or good, but this is the reason I would most likely not stay at this hotel again.

Very basic budget hotel

We booked this hotel last minute after another hotel cancelled and wanted a cheap, stop off, fairly close to the motorway network, which is all you get. While the bed was quite small, it was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

While this was a budget hotel, it didn't feel like value for money and I would pay more and go elsewhere next time. This was more like a youth hostel than a hotel. Before we got to the room, the lift up genuinely scared us - it sounded like it would break any moment and we didn't use it again and the corridors were stained. The room itself was very basis. It was small and felt smaller due to the sloping roof (on the 3rd floor). The information indicated rooms were set to be 19 degrees but this wasn't the case - it was sweltering and no way to cool it. The bathroom had some old damage (cracked sink) and and sink took ages to drain away. There were also lot of people being very loud late at night and there was no soundproofing to stop the noise.

Easy to locate as directly off main highway. Short walk to Bourg Metro station so used public transport the whole time I was in Lille and left car at the hotel with free parking that felt very secure

Reasonable price and convenient place.

Nowadays, it isn’t easy to find a room with a bathtub at a reasonable price. We could enjoy bathing during the stay. The front staffs are very nice, and they faced our little request soon.

A bit more cleaning for details in the bathroom would be better, but sufficient hot water was good.
