We loved the delicious breakfast with top quality products. The place has been tastefully renovated and decorated recently and is therefore still new. The person who served us at breakfast was very considerate in letting us keep the room as I was ill and needed to stay in bed until we were ready to leave. A huge thank you for this.
However, the size of our room (room 3) was microscopic, probably about 6m2 and you could barely move around in it. No space for a chair or anything other than the bed! We weren't assigned a room, and you just chose one of the 4 rooms that had a key on the outside. We had the choice between a room with a very low ceiling and very little day light or the micro-scopic room with head space. These rooms are most definitely not worth the €148 we paid per night, even if the are in the Vieux Lille. The next day we were able to see the room at the front and would obviously have been delighted if this had been our room - 2 windows, lots of light and space.

très chouette atmosphère en plein coeur du vieux Lille, personnel très sympathique!
Literie très confortable et petit déjeuner extra! Dommage que nous soyons arrivés trop tard pour manger au resto car ça a l'air super bon. On reviendra.
la chambre (2) est assez basse de plafond et l'accès à l'étage par le petit escalier n'est pas très pratique pour une personne âgée
