Beautiful apartment, comfortable for family stay

Nice location, quiet and secure. The apartment was well furnished and was comfortable for a family stay. Close to many shops, restaurants, and major tourist sites. The building also has an elevator.

Some parts or the apartment need updating, mainly the door knobs and the flooring. These are small details, though, and didn't impact our stay.

lovely apartment within walking distance from the train station and city - bonus with Cafe san Marco

Lovely apartment in an old building with lots of charm thoughtful touches such as tea towels in the kitchen and some extra supplies such as salt, sugar, coffee etc, and dishwasher tablets good air conditioning it has a washing machine!! across the street from the Cafe san Marco easy walk to the main areas of Trieste Nicoletta was very attentive to our comfort and needs and easy to contact

this is not necessarily a negative, but one bedroom opens off the living room with the sofa bed, so something to keep in mind for a group that is concerned about privacy it looks like there are two bathrooms in the description, but it is actually one full bathroom and one toilet

Like home from home in beautiful Trieste

Location: The location was perfect. The famous Cafe Marco is across the road and within a 1km radius, there is an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. It's approx. a 10 min walk to the canal and 15 mins to Piazza Unità d'Italia. Apartment: It was very spacious and bright. Amenities included fridge, dish washer, washing machine, cooker, tv and coffee machine. The building itself is secure and there is a lift. I would recommend this apartment to my friends and family.

Great large flat suitable for large families or a group of friends

Great large flat suitable for large families or a group of friends. The location is very close to via XX Settembre, and just 15 minutes to the main square. Plenty of cafés, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The flat was spotless, warm and despite the nearby main road, it was very quiet at night.

Nothing in particular with the flat itself, although it would have been nice to find a bottle of water when we arrived (it was not a big issue as there are supermarkets nearby open until late). If you want to park nearby in the street, it's almost impossible, but we knew that already. We parked in the nearby underground car park, which is 5 minutes walk from the property. The price is around €20/€25 per day (the longer you stay, the cheaper it gets) which was not bad (although a bit narrow to get in and out but doable with a medium SUV or an estate car, not much so if you have a very large SUV like Range Rover / X5 / Q7 but that is the case in almost all car parks in Europe)

Very enjoyable home away from home

Beautiful old building, high ceilings and very big spacious rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. The location was good, about a 10 min walk to the restaurants

There was a bit of traffic noise at night and the first night was windy and the shutters were creaky & noisy but the following nights were quieter

A really superb apartment.

The apartment is very spacious and the interior design is very tasteful. The apartment is very convenient to everything and there are some fabulous restaurants, cafes and wine bars nearby. Nicoletta is great to deal with. My husband had a big birthday while we were there and Nicoletta left a card and a gift for him. The apartment is very clean and everything you need is there. Nicoletta has thought of everything. We would definitely recommend it and we will go back.

Very comfortable place in a fantastic location, good information pack, great communication with host, well equipped, lovely shower! Overall a great apartment, very spacious.

It was all good, the only thing that I would have liked in addition was maybe a full length mirror.

Good value for money at nice location.

Beautiful location, nicely renovated apartment in early twentieth century building. Close to main facilities like shops, restaurants, supermarket etc. in a lively part of the city. Parking garage nearby (4 min.) with reasonable tariff.

Nicely looking old wooden floor in the apartment was a bit squeaky and cracking here and there.

Trieste meravigliosa

Appartamento molto spazioso in bellissimo palazzo d'epoca, pulito, ben arredato, luminoso, proprio davanti al famoso Caffè San Marco, ottima posizione per raggiungere il centro di Trieste e anche la stazione, vicino a Viale XX Settembre con molti ristoranti e bar. Proprietaria attenta, risponde alle richieste di informazione

Qualche bottiglia d'acqua all'accoglienza, anche considerato il periodo estivo, sarebbe stata gradita; necessario per il bagno (es. carta igienica) scarso.

Lage sehr gut. Für 4 Personen ausreichend Platz. Einrichtung entsprechend.

Wir hatten 2 Badezimmer laut Beschreibung erwartet und sind auch deshalb auf diese Wohnung gekommen. Wie sich herausgestellt hat, gibt es aber nur ein Badezimmer und eine zusätzliche Toilette. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns dann mitgeteilt, das sei ein Missverständnis und wir hätten das auch auf den Bildern sehen können. Haben unsere Vermieterin nie gesehen. Sie wollte zwar bei der Übergabe dabei sein, aber nach unserer Beschwerde wurde auch Telefon nicht mehr abgenommen, da Sie in der Arbeit war und keine Zeit hatte. So wurde aus einer eigentlich sehr guten Unterkunft ein Aufenthalt mit bitterem Beigeschmack.
